⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Wonderful and Secure Stay at Guanacasa Condominium! We had an amazing experience at Guanacasa Condominium! The gated community offers excellent security, with two gates to pass through before entering—something we really appreciated for peace of mind. The condo itself was comfortable and well-maintained, and the pool area was pleasant, perfect for relaxing after a long day of activities. Although we rented a car to get to our scheduled excursions, it was super convenient to have a designated parking spot right outside our condo door. Everything about our stay felt easy, safe, and enjoyable. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a secure, relaxing place to stay!

This place was the perfect place for us. Although it was in a residential property with many homes, it was incredibly relaxing and felt uncrowded, allowing for true peace and quiet. I loved being able to walk to nearby stores, which made my stay super convenient. We made many meals with all of the kitchen appliances needed provided. This is a very nice place, and I thoroughly enjoyed my time here.

The house has all the amenities one needs, with a beautiful location and view The super clean house extends everything in excellent condition to my family and I love a place full of peace and relaxing we felt very comfortable !! And the super attentive hosts for anything we needed very kindly !! 😃

We were at the treehouse and my son loved it. It was very clean, the place had a lot of entertainment for the kids and adults. Highly recommended to spend the day as a family, 30’ from San Jose and surrounded by nature.

Just a great place to stay at! Very central to a lot of national parks (including Tortuguero just 1.5 hrs to La Pavona dock). The real delight was having the river right behind us, loved taking a dip after the hikes. So peaceful! 10/10

We had a wonderful short stay at Francisco’s house! The place was spotless, beautifully designed, and had a perfect balance of minimalism and functionality. As parents of a little baby, we felt completely at ease letting him explore, knowing the space was safe and well-kept. Francisco was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our stay. We would definitely love to come back!

Spacious, Comfortable, Clean, and Convenient – Perfect Home Base Near the Airport Torey’s home in La Ribera de Belén was a fantastic place to stay. It’s spacious, peaceful, and exceptionally well-located—just 10 minutes from the airport but tucked away in a safe, quiet neighborhood that’s close to grocery stores, restaurants, and local highlights. The house is thoughtfully laid out with three comfortable bedrooms, two full bathrooms, and multiple living areas that made it easy to relax and spread out. The kitchen utensils and appliances are fully stocked and perfect for anyone who enjoys cooking. Having hot water throughout the house was a real plus. I especially appreciated the dedicated workspace and reliable Wi-Fi, which made it easy to stay productive during my trip. Even though Torey isn’t on site, communication was seamless. She provided clear instructions and helpful local tips.

The apartment is very nice, super cozy and super clean, the location is excellent, we only had trouble accessing the key but the host responded quickly and resolved it very kindly

We were only there for a few hours for a place to rest our heads before catching our plane, but it was clean with hot showers. There was great communication and a wonderful location.

A beautiful rustic house overlooking the volcanoes. We had a minor issue with the water and Tomás was quick to take care of it. Other than that our stay was perfect. Do keep in mind the biggest room is downstairs, so not suitable for somebody who has trouble with stairs. But the three rooms in the main area still have enough beds. This would be an awesome place for a big family. Close to Poás and the peace waterfalls. My teenage children all loved it.

I totally recommend staying at Mrs. Rosa's house, she is very kind and cuts, the house is located in a very comfortable, safe area and with access to various places. The house is very cozy, spacious, clean and tidy. We really felt right at home.

I’ve stayed at many places in Costa Rica and Yamila’s place was by far one of my favorites! You feel right at home and it’s in the perfect location with a full size basketball court across the street and along with a park to walk around and enjoy the outdoors. 10/10 recommend staying here you won’t regret it! The host is very friendly and helpful.

Ruth and Karen were fantastic hosts! We loved visiting with them and getting a tour of the amazing property. The home is beautiful , well stocked and very comfortable. When we weren’t hiking to the waterfall or along the river to the coffee farm we were relaxing on the veranda. We saw Mot Mots, a toucan, and lots of other birds! The beautiful horse Paco was majestic! We will definitely return and give 5 stars+++

We had a great stay! The place was incredibly peaceful. The house was very nice and had everything we needed for a wonderful trip. Liliana was incredibly helpful and shared local activities and checked in to make sure all was going well. We ate at Timbu, which was a fantastic local resturaunt. The natural beauty that surrounds the home was great. Overall a great experience. Thanks

The house was really wonderful. It felt comfortable, clean, and safe. Also, the co-host is incredibly communicative. Anytime we needed help or had a problem it was quickly resolved. Something to note is that the house is very one with nature. Which we did not mind, but may bother others. However, I believe in Costa Rica this is common you will find bugs and geckos inside the house, but they are completely harmless and co existing with people. There are also noises coming from the highway and the chickens in the backyard, which can be hurt in the bedroom during the night. Once again we didn’t mind, but something to keep in mind for someone who cannot handle louder sounds at night. Besides those two points. I highly recommend Carlos’ home. Really felt like a home away from home. Thank you for a great place 🩷

Nice place to 'land' literally! Felt safe and there were nearby shops within walking distance. Nice distance from downtown too...not too far or close... Thank you for being so helpful and friendly!

This is a very active and vibrant community. The day starts early! It was super convenient to have a supermarket right next door and the town center was always fun to visit. There is a bus stop very close by that will take you to Alajuela. It is a very busy city with lots of shopping and things to see. If you have the chance go to a soccer game it is very much worth the money. The pura vida lift is an alive and well in Santa Barbera. Luis and his family will take very good care of you and the property was magnificent. I would stay there again.
