House holiday rentals in Hernando County

Our start started out 6 months ago with family coming in from different turns and states to celebrate my mom and dad’s 50th anniversary…..2 days prior to check in he passed 😭 we did have an abundance of friends and family bringing food and condolences…. Richard was so patient and understanding and communicated with us 100% on what was acceptable and not acceptable while being genuinely sympathetic at the same time!! We made the best of the circumstances and the family enjoyed a nice home with distractions while we processed our loss….we can’t thank Richard enough!

Nice home in centralized location, close to stores and restaurants while also being near parks and walking trails. Within one hour driving distance of major destinations as well. The heated pool was excellent and got up to temperature within a few days. Being pet friendly was a huge plus and our dogs loved the patio area and fenced-in yard. Hosts were helpful and very responsive. Perfect spot for a small group, family, or those just looking for a cozy home away from home.

Booked the property for a mini vacation with family for my birthday weekend. We had the best time!! The house is beautiful and the views were spectacular. There were ample amenities provided to for a relaxing stay and the hosts, Alix and Summer, were both super nice and accommodating! 10/10 recommend this stay. Me and my family are definitely going to make this a regular booking!!

This place was perfect for our group of several families! The pool set up and outdoor living area were ideal for adults socializing while kids played in the pool. The kitchen was large and fully stocked with everything needed to cook. The two living spaces were also great for kids and adults to have their own space. The drive to Weeki Wachee state park was quick and easy. Sandra was a very responsive host. We thoroughly enjoyed our time!

We had an amazing stay at Matthew’s place. The house was clean and provided ample space for our family. The children thoroughly enjoyed the swimming pool, and Matthew was consistently responsive to our inquiries and requests.

Jason was a wonderful host. Everything I messaged him about he answered within minutes. The rental was exactly as pictured . Very clean and comfy. With great amenities. The booking, check in and check out were flawless. We even left a pillow and my son’s stuffed animal in one room and within the hour Jason messaged me to let me know about it. And made arrangements to return our belongings. Dealing with Jason was one of the bright moments of our trip. Thank you Jason for being a great host. We will be back for sure.

We had a nice little getaway weekend at this place! Great location if you're going to Weeki Wachee and the pool was a fabulous treat! Hosts were helpful and responsive as needed. Easy to get into and the house was clean and we felt right at home!

This house was great for what we needed. We had it 2 weeks, it served our family of 6 very well. Plenty of space, It’s kid friendly to an extent, as in there’s not a lot of trinkets around, but there are a lot of glass tables. Otherwise, no complaints great house easy to deal with owners. Would definitely stay here again.

Lovely area and the house was very clean. Check in and check out was smooth as could be. It was a great home away from home!

From the moment we walked in we felt right at home. Beautifully appointed and comfortable. We especially enjoyed the Florida room and the pool/waterfall/fountain. Having our morning coffee poolside while watching boats head out for a days fishing was extremely relaxing. I highly recommend this home for a peaceful place to help boost your creative energies!

The pictures and description really cant do this home enough justice...it is a simply stunning place and Carmen went above and beyond, was extremely personable and made us feel at home, communicated quickly and was a pleasure to deal with, 10 out of 5 stars !!¡

We stayed here on a trip to Croom motorcycle area. The location was ideal, the beds were comfy, and the garage was spacious. We will try to stay here again next time we come up!

The place was spotless and very welcoming. The access to the river is right around the corner and the dock and patios were a welcome spot to spend down by the water. We definitely had an amazing weekend and would love to book again in the future.

We booked this home for a trip to Weeki Wachee state park It was very close by and worked out well for our visit We had 2 children w us They loved,loved the pool The house was a nice sz for 4 people,had everything we needed Stores were close by, it was a quiet neighborhood and we felt safe We would stay there again

Paul was very accommodating and straight forward. He informed us that the house needed to be cleaned prior to us staying. However we said we would be fine washing the sheets and straightening up a bit for him. He allowed us in and gave a discount on the cleaning fee. We had some questions about the internet at 11 pm texted him and response immediately. Couldn’t ask for a better host. Thanks again for letting us stay in the home. Would recommend this place to anyone.

Great location to enjoy the river and the Hernando Flats The dock was a plus to park our jet ski during our stay. Very clean with everything we needed. I would definitely recommend this place to friends. The Upper Deck restaurant is within walking distance and the food was great. Looking forward to staying again soon.

We try to come out to Weeki Wachee every summer. This by far has been our favorite place! Beautiful house with so much to do! a family of manatees likes to hang out at the doc as well!

Accurate listing. Being able to kayak on our own terms and not have to pay extra for rentals was nice. We saw a manatee even though it was hot out. The unit’s air conditioners keep up just fine. It was great to have a washer & dryer available with detergent there. (Bring your own hair dryer if that matters to you. The listing does not mention one, so it was my wrong assumption.) Enjoyed eating at Upper Deck and Silver Dolphin-both nearby. We would stay here again.

If I could give Hernando hideaway 6 stars I would! This is by the far the best Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in and cannot wait to go back. We stayed for a week as a family with an infant and toddler plus 5 adults. The house is outstanding with everything you could need and more. Joe and Josie have gone beyond the extra mile to make the stay amazing. From before booking, the communication was fantastic and no question or request was too much. The guidebook was so helpful with info about the house and local area. Check-in was very easy, the welcome gift was so kind, the rooms were all very clean and well decorated as per the pictures. The pool was used by everyone and we loved the downstairs pool area. We didn’t make use of all facilities as there was just so much available but the kids enjoyed trying fishing, playing with the pool toys, having s’mores from the s’mores station, playing with garden games and playing with the toys indoors. Couldn’t recommend more!!

Had a great time a Zachary's place. The canal is beautiful, the pool and hot tub are kept clean and in shape, and the house is very cozy!
