Here you can rent a cozy cabin with electricity and running water during the period May to September (with the exception of July). The island of Lovund is a neat 5km² and 625 meters high. There are only buildings on the northeast side of the island, while the rest of the island is a great hiking area. Top hikes on Lovundfjellet and Nøva (lillefjellet), walk to Risneset, Vassvika, Hestvika, Heirsan, Lundeura, Hamnholmvalen (bathing area) and the tour around the island (demanding hike) are recommended. Must be rented for at least 3 nights and you must clean up after yourselves on departure.

A good starting point for experiencing the beautiful Helgeland coast with fantastic trips to mountains such as the Seven Sisters or Dønnamannen, island hopping by bike or trips in the beautiful archipelago by boat or kayak.

The cabin has 3 bedrooms with possibilities for beds for 8 people (10 with sofa bed). Ta deg en pause og slapp av i denne fredelige oasen. Hytten ligger ved havet og har en nydelig badestrand rett ved. Hytten tilhører en gård med hester og andre smådyr. Stedet er fredelig og det er lite trafikk, det hører også en flytebrygge til som er tilgjengelig for bading, fisking kan også nås fra bergene ved hytten. Hytten ligger i naturskjønne omgivelser og har tilgang til gode turområder. Silvalen sentrum ligger 6 km unna.

Home and Hestøysund / Austbø

Large 6-meter dome in the middle of great nature. Double bed and possibly a couple of extra mattresses for children. Small gas refrigerator, wood stove and gas burner for simple cooking. Campfire area. 5 tame goats graze in the area. Two SUP boards and a double sit-on-top kayak are ready for use. There are many car ferries to the island every day.

The cabin consists of 1 bedroom with 2 (3) beds (small double bed = 120 cm wide + 1 single bunk), living room with double sofa bed (with mattress topper), loft with 2 -4 beds, kitchenette and bathroom. The cabin is located about 200 m from the lake. The host does not rent a boat herself, but can assist with arranging boat rental.
