In the most fashionable and vibrant part of town (Het Zuid), close to the fashion district, the Kloosterstraat with its vintage and antiques shops, shopping street "Meir" and lots of museums, bars and restaurants nearby. Appartement is in een oude meer dan 450 jaaroud gebouw, vlakbij de kathedraal, de hotspot voor toeristen, waar werkelijk alles aan je voeten ligt. Open de ramen van de woonkamer en je voelt je in het midden van het levendige en bruisende Antwerpen. Je kan alles makkelijk te voet bezoeken. Als je iemand bent die graag lekker eet en drinkt, de wereldkeuken in de directe omgeving; voor Belgisch eten, gewoon de trappen aflopen en je kunt dineren in de ‘Pottekijker’.

We hebben erg genoten van ons verblijf in de Airbnb van Gert in de charmante wijk Zurenborg in Antwerpen. Het huis is sfeervol, netjes en ligt in een prachtige buurt met indrukwekkende architectuur en gezellige cafés op loopafstand. Er waren een paar kleine dingen die ontbraken qua praktische handigheidjes, maar dat heeft onze ervaring zeker niet verpest. Al met al een heerlijke plek om Antwerpen te verkennen en we komen graag nog eens terug!

Fantastic host and flat - Vlatko was very quick to respond to my messages and had some great local recommendations. The flat was great for 2 people - beautifully decorated and had everything we needed for a night in cooking. It was very clean and well organised and we were able to organise a late check out as we were on a late train. The location is wonderful and easy to walk along the river, as well as to the center of town and anywhere around the city. There were also bike rentals available nearby too. Thank you for a great stay!

I like to choose a place to stay that is away from the tourist locations, and tucked in a neighborhood where people live. This carriage house met and exceeded expectations. The hosts were friendly and cooperative when my arrival time shifted due to unforeseen circumstances. We enjoyed chatting about Antwerp, they, like me, live travel and the joy of meeting people. Shower was fabulous, recs were wonderful too!! I will return to Antwerp AND to this gorgeously renovated space.

Heritage Suites 3 was a beautifully redecorated home right in the heart of Antwerp at Grote Markt. We could walk everywhere, there was space for everyone, and the home was quiet at night, despite being above the bars and restaurants of the area. Really well insulated, with all bedrooms at the back of the home. Highly recommend if that is the area you are looking to stay in!

Warm & eclectic flat in Antwerp’s historic center

Le logement de Koen est très propre, spacieux et moderne. La douche est digne d'un 4 étoiles et la cuisine est super moderne avec eau pétillante, glacée ou bouillante au choix au robinet ! Il y a un seul lit (très grand et très confortable), le canapé n'est pas convertible, mais Koen a rajouté un matelas à notre demande et c'était parfait. L'appartement est situé à 10 minutes à pied de la cathédrale et du centre, et à 15 minutes à pied du port. Il y a une station de métro à 10 minutes pour aller à la gare centrale. Koen est un hôte amical et très prévenant. Il a répondu à nos messages rapidement. Nous avons passé un très bon séjour chez Koen et nous recommandons cet hôte à 100%.

Stylish Apartment w City Views near KMSKA, Antwerp

Marie is a very responsive host who gave excellent detailed information that made access easy and relaxed. The apartment, newly furnished, is very stylish, spacious and comfortable with thoughtful details such as the lovely sofa, and coffee pods for the coffee maker that made us feel at home. The place looks just like in the photos, located on the top two floors of a renovated traditional house, we had views of the impressive KMSKA museum and everyday enjoyed sound of swifts flying over. We gradually became expert at navigating the steep stairs, anyone with mobility issues might find them a challenge. The area around the apartment is beautiful, tree lined streets, quirky shops, outdoor cafes, galleries, restaurants and plenty of nightlife. We had a really excellent, two weeks in Antwerp and would happily stay here again.
