All rooms are private snd locked!! All rooms are Japanese style with Tatami & Futons. You can get to Lake on foot. Bus stop is a 5 minuete It is only about 1.7 km from Kawaguchiko Station which is easily walkable. There are supermarkets , convenience stores and some restaurants and hot spring within walking distance .

Our private room features 1 or 2 futon beds on traditional tatami floors. The shared areas include bathrooms, dining space and a work/lounge/library area. The hostel Saruya Hostel opened in 2015 in Fujiyoshida, a city at the bottom of Mt Fuji. We renovated an 80 years old wooden house to create a place that allows our guests to experience time and space through carefully selected art, design and objects, mixing traditional Japanese inspiration with modern aesthetics.
