Cabin, one hour drive from Tromsø

3 bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen and living room. One bedroom on the ground floor(bed 120 cm). Two bedrooms on the first floor. Bedroom 1: (both beds 90 cm). Bedroom 2: (one bed 150 cm, one 90 cm, one 75 cm). Floorheating in bathroom and living room. Any type of heating is included in the rent. The area under 'The Lyngen Alps' (Lyngsalpene) are popular both for winter and summer vacations. In the dark months in mid Winter you can view the 'Northern Lights' (Aurora Borealis). When the darkest Winter is changing in to longer days the skiers appears in the spectacular mountains surrounding the house.  If you want to go skiing, you go outside, put on your skies and of you go. There is a restaurant/bar that have a seasonal opening hours. The local grocery store is 5 km away. In Winter the local husky farm can give you a sledgeride into the picturesque surroundings, or you can go horseback riding in the Summer. During the Summer you can try the good fishing opportunities in the area. Fishing in lakes, river, creeks and the fjord is very popular. You can even do this all day and night, due to the midnightsun. The international airport in Tromsø is just 70km away. The train station in Narvik is just above 2 hours drive away. There are local buses daily, except Saturdays. Finland is 1hr 45 min drive away, and Sweden is 3 hours drive away. This is a place to relax an spend time in nature. Perfect to just sit outside watching the Northern lights crossing the sky. The owners of the house live nearby, they speak English and some German. They will try to answer all of your questions as best they know how.

Experience the midnight sun in the summer and northern light in the winter from our cabin. Located by the sea, with all facilities and parkingplace. 60m2, spread over two floors. Two bedrooms with five sleepingplaces in total. We can also provide with a extra bed for a baby. A perfect spot to discover Tromso and it's surroundings due to the close location to the city and at the same time as it is located with nature close by. In the summertimes we can rent out bikes and a boat with a driver.

Nice place, unique nature and northern lights

Large apartment with 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, good standard. The kitchen is well-equipped for cooking. It includes linens, towels, various soaps and possibility to wash clothes. The place is perfect for northern lights watching and nature experiences with proximity to the Lyngen alps. The site is located directly below the northern light belt with little light pollution, 50 minutes from Tromsø. It is recommended to rent a car and we offer a discount deal at Hertz.

Amazing cabin 25 minutes from Tromsø Airport

The cabin is situated on the roof of the tunnel to Malangen and just by the seaside. The living room has great windows that give you a feeling of being outside when are sitting warm and comfortably inside. Perfect for spotting for the northern lights. The cabin has three large bedrooms, a nice bathroom, and a well equipped kitchen. Everything is ready for you to have a great stay just outside amazing Tromsø. We stayed with great pleasure in this wonderful extremely comfortable chalet. The view of the fjord is priceless and we really relaxed after the ski mountaineering trips we were able to do despite the weather. Excellent equipment of the house and the exchange of communication with our host who welcomed us with the excellent smoked salmon produced by him

Dear Anne, thank you very much for having us! We have stayed at Anne’s house for almost two weeks and with two different companies: first with friends and then with my husband’s parents. We had amazing time both times. The best things about the house: 1. The view is incredible. Having your first cup of coffee with this view is priceless 2. The house is right on the ski slopes. We could ski in/ski out, making it easy to go ski even for a short period of time 3. The jacuzzi is amazing. We used it sometimes during the sunset time and sometimes late at night for Aurora watching 4. You can see Auroras right from the living room and the jacuzzi is really the best for watching them since you don’t get cold 5. This is the best stocked house I have ever stayed at - it had everything. We could really feel that it’s Anne’s second home, not just a rental house Anne is great as a host as well: friendly, responsive and helpful. We felt welcome and had the best time!

It's hard to say enough good things about Walter's cabin. First, it is beautifully designed and a pleasure to be in. The views are stunning, the furniture and beds very comfortable. The kitchen was easy to cook in and there was everything you needed in terms of pots, pans, and plates. Everything was attractive about the place. The location was perfect. You could walk out the door and have many adventures by foot. Other hikes are an easy drive away. The area is magical and we can't wait to come back. We would definitely seek out this cabin again. Walter's instructions were good and he was easily reachable and responsive. Many thanks, Walter for sharing your cabin and the experiences in Sammarøy with others.
