Andreia was such a friendly and caring host. The apartment was beautifully furnished and very cozy. The kitchen is really perfect and left nothing to be desired. We felt very comfortable and were able to contact Andreia at any time if we needed anything. The apartment is highly recommended, it was perfect!

One word sums up this listing "PERFECT" . Eunice was a lovely lady, who took time throughout our stay to ensure we were comfortable. She was not intusive, but corresponsed using text to check we were ok. Eunice provided more than she needed to and appeared to 'Go the extra mile' for us. She was a perfrct host. In fact this was the best Air B & B experience I have had. Eunice provided a clean, well furnished and equipped house. She provided extras I was not expecting. She had a lovely son, who stepped in when host was busy, just as a point of contact in case of a problem (there weren't any) It was reassuring to know. Location was quiet, felt safe and welcome. A beautiful stopover on the island of Pico. Large functional accommodation, very large for two, but it's nice to have space! We'll be back, that's for sure!

Great house, amazing view and also great restaurant nearby. The hosts were very responsive and always happy to help. The WIFI was a bit temperamental but overall we had an amazing stay.

Absolutely stunning house and views - loved sleeping to the sounds of the ocean, plus the pool is amazing. Loved the traditional decor / furniture too.

This was the best place I’ve ever stayed!! The island is already breathtaking but the location of the home, the view, and the pool made our experience on Pico even better. Ana and Benedita have been super accommodating and allowed me to change the dates during the pandemic. I finally was able to visit after two years and it was well worth the wait! If you are on the fence you need to book this stay. They also own a couple restaurants on the island, i highly recommend going to Magma for a nice meal overlooking the ocean!

We loved the thoughtful food items left for us. The beds are firm and comfortable, and the heaters kept us warm at night. The couch was also cozy, perfect for hours of reading and enjoying the solitude. Be cautious with the entrance—it’s a narrow, steep, one-way street. Large cars might get scratched or not fit at all. A small car is ideal, but one with a weak engine may struggle. Once parked, the space is great. Finding the house was tricky, as the GPS didn’t recognize the address, but we discovered two routes to get there. There’s no dryer, so drying clothes on the rack can be challenging, especially in rainy seasons. Bring quick-dry and waterproof clothing. Carlos and Manuela provided a helpful restaurant guide, though many were closed during our visit. We explored local spots and loved the food—Aromas and Sabores in Lajes is a must! If you seek peace and seclusion, this cozy place is perfect. We never met another person during our stay.

The place is really beautiful and you felt right at home. 😍 You are right on the sea. However, without a rental car, this property is not recommended, as it is less than a 25-minute drive from Madalena and thus from shopping and restaurants. However, those who love peace and quiet like us are in the right place. At night, however, the tranquility is less, as Azorean ducks keep you awake on a nest hunt. 😅 All in all still recommended. 🙃

João’s Airbnb was meticulously clean, well equipped, with lots of extra touches and exceeded all of our expectations. We could not have chosen a better location to end our three week trip to the Azores. We were greeted by João and he was very welcoming, accessible and easy to communicate with. We were centrally located close to Horta, the ferries and all major attractions on Faial, plus being right on an amazing black sand beach and surrounded by beautiful views. Would highly recommend and look forward to a return trip soon. João was truly a super host!

We love the house. Marcelo was very friendly and hospitable. He welcomed us with a bottle of white wine, a loaf of bread, a big chunk of cheese, and a big bottle of water. He has provided lots of information regarding restaurants and sights. The house is very conveniently located. It is near the airport, close by to the ferry station and wine museum and restaurants and hiking trails. We had a wonderful stay. Thanks!

We had a short stay but everything was great! The views were beautiful on the top floor (there were stairs), and there was a nice outdoor patio. We had enough towels and all the amenities we needed (full sized fridge and freezer which was nice). The parking was easy and spacious. Great location, I recommend!
