Conchal Hotel is a small owner-operated boutique hotel located near to the famous Playa Conchal or Conchal Beach. We are situated in the small rustic pueblo of Playa Brasilito, province of Guanacaste on the north Pacific coast of Costa Rica. Rates include welcome drink, full buffet breakfast, wi-fi internet, all day free tea, coffee and drinking water

The space
At Conchal Hotel most of our beautiful rooms are situated on the ground floor, with four rooms located on the upper floor with stair access. Most rooms have garden or swimming pool views. Standard rooms feature queen size bed, air conditioning, ceiling fan, fridge, room safe, and fully tiled en-suite private bathroom with hot-water shower. All rooms feature an outside patio area, with seating overlooking the garden or pool. By Costa Rican law, all rooms and public areas are non-smoking.

Around the swimming pool you will find comfortable loungers, tables, chairs and canopies providing shaded areas. Here you are surrounded by the beautiful tropical flowers, plants and palm trees of the hotel garden. This area is home to many iguanas endemic to the region of Guanacaste. There is also a fountain and small pond.

A full breakfast buffet is served daily in our open air 'Rancho' building. Here you will also find reception, bar, lounge area and our own restaurant 'Papaya' (closed Wednesdays). The restaurant specializes in healthy, fresh food using locally sourced products. Seafood is supplied by local fisherman daily.

Our staff at the reception desk can provide expert advice and information on all local tours and excursions, often at discounted rates. We are also more than happy to provide help with transportation including airport transfers, shared shuttle buses and private transfers throughout the country. Some tours include Arenal volcano, Rincon de la Vieja volcano, Palo Verde river boat cruises, Mpnteverde, Rio Celeste and many more options. We also offer horse riding, zip-lining, fishing, scuba diving, sailing, kayaking and surfing tours.

High speed Wi-Fi internet access is available in the hotel, free of charge for our guests. Please note that some rooms may receive a weak or no signal, but a good signal is available in most rooms and all common areas.

The hotel is situated in the small village of Brasilito, with a good selection of restaurants and within walking distance to the beach of Playa Conchal. This is widely regarded as one of the best beaches in the country. Other nearby beaches and towns to explore include Tamarindo, Playa Grande, Playa Flamingo and Potrero.

Where you’ll be

Brasilito is a small, typical Costa Rican fishing village. There are some very good restaurants within a short walk from the hotel, also a couple of bars sometimes featuring live music and dancing. Lots of beautiful beaches to explore, as well as national parks, and plenty of activities and excursions.
