Full glass frontage with superb mountain views. Separate entrance. Flue of downstairs slow combustion stove for heating the loft. 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, kitchen, hot water, DSTV, amplified cell phone reception& satellite linked WiFi. Meals on request.

The space
Our Loft is the most recent addition to our Woodcliffe accommodation. The flue of the downstairs slow combustion wood fireplace makes this a cozy spot in winter. Accessibility to the Little Pot and Redcliffe Streams for fishing and swimming. Bring your mountain bicycles and hiking boots. Arrange a nature guide R1500/day to get you to some of the world famous rock art or high altitude orchids (Dec-Feb) . Guests use their own 4x4s for guided outings. (If transport is provided it is done so at AA rates/km.)

Guest access
Woodcliffe is a 1000 ha cattle farm with approximately 8-10km of river frontage for fishing. Our day hikes are marked and guests can hike/cycle/swim to their hearts content. The Loft overlooks the Woodcliffe farmhouse garden with large shady trees and well kept garden. Woodcliffe has a herb garden. Guests are able to help themselves to some fresh herbs in season.

Other things to note
Woodcliffe is 22km from Maclear along a gravel road. Guests are advised that a reasonable clearance vehicle is required.Guests are advised to arrive by 4.30pm on the afternoon of arrival. Guests are advised to fill up with fuel in Maclear before leaving town. This is especially important for guests wanting to travel over Naude's Nek to Rhodes. There is often no fuel in Rhodes.

We are a remote Drakensberg location. Guests are free to explore the farm and surrounding area.For the lovers of the great outdoors we offer a pristine destination with birds, indigenous forests and wild flowers On days when guests plan on doing a hike or fishing the upper reaches of the rivers we suggest that the guests take a farm radio. We take pride in looking after our guests so that they can enjoy our beautiful surroundings.
