Live like a Vagabond on Sweden's southernmost theatre in our stunning and comfortably furnished Family carts. Have a rustic breakfast in our beautiful foyer and enjoy expansive beaches by the sea. Here you live close to nature with all the comfort within reach.

How about falling asleep in the summer sky to the rush of the deciduous tree in a traditional, deliciously decorated gypsy wagon, on soft mattresses with fresh sheets, down duvets and go´a pillows? Maybe after a barbecue night at the campfire. And then wake up to a pending breakfast with good coffee and a fabulous day fresh bread from the village's famous baker.

All this can be found in Örmölla old beautiful school in Abbekås, by Skåne south coast's fine sandy beaches. The building is newly furnished with kitchen, dining room, showers, toilets and all modernities needed for comfortable tourist living. It is also accessible and we have a pavilion for disabled guests.

We who started and own Hotel Vagabond are two actors, who toured from Boliden in the north to the desert town of Timbuktu in Mali to the south. We have seen many places in the world and often lived a vagabonding life. The hotels have been countless. Most left no deeper traces, but there were some gems. – Such a hotel we dreamed of creating!

As we also have our own theater -Teater Kapija- in the house we sometimes give our own performances and arrange guest games and concerts. We partner with many artists and creative friends who can surprise both ourselves and our (website hidden) it's time to bring the world to us. And give you a little more than just a night hawk. Very welcome to dream your own magical dreams in our beautiful Vagabond carts.

A sturdy breakfast is always included in our prices. In our restaurant with full rights, good, home-cooked food is served. Several showers and toilets are available in our fixed buildings directly adjacent to the wagons.

We have a few different types of carts all with a double bed as standard as well as the possibility for, for example, children to sleep in extra bed. Maximum four people per wagon, of which two kids.

The best is that you talk to us about your needs and together we can find a good solution. We also have a pavilion for disabled accommodation, with a single bed and a bunk bed.

Hotel Vagabond is located in a beautiful scenic area on the south coast of Skåne. Here, you have the sea within sight with a beautiful sandy beach for recreation. You can walk along the lovely Skivarpsån and stop at any of the barbecue areas. If you go in the other direction, you come to the little picturesque fishing village of Abbekås with restaurants and cafe.
