Family-friendly holiday rentals in Houten

This is such a special place! We absolutely loved our stay - it was the perfect place to unwind, slow down and be still. Rob was a great host and made us feel really at home . I highly recommend staying in Robs house and we’re keen to return!!

The house was exactly as described. The location is amazing, and the patio is out of this world. We had a great time!

very nice stay at Jolanda in the safari tent. very responsive host, very friendly, and so nice we could buy from her some food as we did dare to go shopping after a day of cycling. beautiful and peaceful place...i will come back for sure.

Wir waren für ein Wochenende in der Wohnung und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Mit den Fahrrädern konnte man die nahe gelegene Metrostation gut erreichen und wir haben eine gute Zeit in Amsterdam gehabt. Die Vermieter waren sehr freundlich und immer gut erreichbar. Ich kann diese Unterkunft für Amsterdam Aufenthalte sehr empfehlen.

Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit in dieser großzügigen und gemütlichen Villa in Utrecht. Die Wohnung strahlt eine Wohlfühlatmosphäre aus und ist perfekt ausgestattet. Utrecht hat viel zu bieten, und von der Unterkunft aus ist vieles fußläufig, mit dem Fahrrad oder dem Auto leicht zu erreichen. Die Lage ist sehr ruhig, aber dennoch nahe an allem, was man braucht. Der Vermieter ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Wir können diese Unterkunft wärmstens empfehlen!

Ein rundum gelungenes Wochenende mit Wohlfühlfaktor! Ich war mit meinen besten Freundinnen in dieser wunderschönen Unterkunft – und wir haben uns vom ersten Moment an richtig wohlgefühlt. 🥰 Die Wohnung war sehr sauber, liebevoll eingerichtet und angenehm ruhig gelegen. Die Betten sind super bequem, die Zimmer geschmackvoll gestaltet – genauso wie der Rest des Hauses. Die Lage ist toll: Die Umgebung ist charmant und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind gut zu Fuß erreichbar. Ein besonderes Highlight war der freundliche Labrador im Innenhof hinter dem DIY-Laden, er streift gerne mal durch den Garten und bringt ganz viel Herz in die Atmosphäre. 🐾 Wir hatten zusätzlich den Pool gemietet – das war herrlich entspannend! Das Aufheizen mit dem kleinen Ofen war ganz unkompliziert und hat für eine angenehme Wassertemperatur gesorgt. Insgesamt ein wunderschönes, entspanntes Wochenende mit viel Ruhe, guter Energie und ganz viel Erholung. Sehr zu empfehlen! 💛

Fijn appartement met heerlijke jacuzzi in een afgesloten deel van de tuin. Heel privé en heerlijk voor een weekendje weg uit het drukke dagelijkse leven. Fijne keuken, prima bed en goeie douche. Zelfs een wasmachine (niet gebruikt maar toch).

I’m emotional about leaving this absolute treasure of a rental- wish we could stay forever. We booked Darley’s on the recommendation of well-traveled local friends who literally *moved* to Hilversum after staying here and told us it was the best Airbnb of all time. (These friends also know that I’m finicky about vacation rentals and generally prefer hotels.) I’m SO glad we listened to them. This is, without a doubt, the most beautiful, well-appointed, lavish, thoughtfully stocked, gorgeously furnished, comfortable Airbnb ever, and now I’m probably ruined for all others. It could have been half as incredible for twice the price - we’d still be delighted. I’ve never felt more at home while traveling. We had all the privacy, comfort, provisions, fresh flowers and fruit, random fun perks, great water pressure, immaculate cleanliness, inspiring corners, luxurious linens, and other copious supplies we didn’t know we needed. Thank you, Marielise, for the Airbnb experience of a lifetime. WOW.

What a beautiful and inviting lake home very close to Gouda and all local transportation. It was fast travel to Rotterdam and only an hour from Amsterdam / both were easy access through the local train station Gouda Gowervelle. We enjoyed all the running and biking paths along the lake and canals. Shopping and sightseeing in Gouda was fun as well! (Enjoyed the cheese museum which is perfect for kids of all ages. ) The lake house was a perfect setting, neighbors are friendly and quiet and the home is spacious enough for 4 or small families and it’s simply beautiful . Enjoyed!! Great hosts and very responsive! Highly recommend.

Szybka komunikacja z gospodarzem, wszystko zgodnie z opisem. wygodny parking i połączenie drogowe z innymi miejscowościami. Bardzo dobrze wyposażona kuchnia. kompletne wyposażenie apartamentu.

Ugoszczenie przez Panią Trienie było jak ze snu. Bardzo miło nas przywitała, oprowadziła po domku i zaproponowała różne atrakcje. Jesteśmy bardzo wdzięczni za taką gościnność i życzliwość. Okolica jest piękna - pełno zieleni, wiejskie zwierzęta tylko uzupełniały ten cudowny krajobraz. Domek - bardzo przytulny i czysty. Miejsce miało dla nas wszystko czego potrzeba do codziennego funkcjonowania. Jesteśmy oczarowani wszystkim co zobaczyliśmy w okolicy i na pewno wrócimy na, mam nadzieję dłuższy pobyt. Dziękujemy!

práchtige plek midden in het bos. hele mooi tuin en veel mooie bomen. bijzondere uitkijktoren (waar je niet op kan) van decennia geleden maakt het uniek. prima huisje met fijne buitenzitplek, incl bbq en vuurkorf. alles is geregeld

Nous avons adoré notre week-end dans les caravanes. Quel bonheur de s'y détendre la soir après avoir crapahuté dans la folie d'Amsterdam et de Rotterdam ! Votre jardin est magnifique, d'un calme surprenant et où il est vraiment agréable de s'y détendre ou jouer avec les enfants ! Coup de cœur pour Bacon 🐖🐽 et ses copines 🐔🐔. Merci pour votre gentillesse, j'aurai aimé pouvoir discuter plus avec vous mais comme vous l'avez constaté, mon anglais est très limité 🤣. If you want to stay in a place that feels like home, this is the place for you! Off the beaten path a little, Lotte's place is such a reprieve after a busy day of sightseeing. It was wonderful to go for walks in the evening and enjoy such amazing farmhouse breakfasts in the morning. Lotte was extremely responsive and her place is amazing! I wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

Super Unterkunft und super Gastgeber . Wir hatten sehr viel Spaß sind haben uns wohl gefühlt. Die Unterkunft war mit dem Boot erreichbar und wir konnten mit dem Boot einkaufen fahren. Es war ein echtes Abenteuer. Der Unterkunft sowie der Pool war sauber. Hat alles gepasst für uns ☀️

Wir haben 3 Nächte in dem kleinen tiny house verbracht und es hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Die Beschreibung ist sehr genau. Es ist super ruhig und perfekt zum erholen. Das Bett ist sehr bequem und hat eine extra große Decke! Wenn man Probleme mit Mücken hat, dann empfiehlt es sich ein Mückenspray einzupacken. Das Haus ist aber zusätzlich mit Anti-Mücken-Steckern ausgestattet, sodass es drinnen kein Problem war.

È andato tutto molto bene. Il posto è incantevole e la posizione perfetta per visitare l'Olanda. Non perdete tempo a cercare altri alloggi ma andate da Marcel.

Steven was absolutely amazing! The boat is lovely and well situated and he went absolutely above and beyond to help us out on our stay - he even brought us out on his tugboat for a test run! Could not recommend enough thank you so much for our stay 😊😊

Great mix between a very livable place to stay and a bucket list experience. Easy to cook, quiet nights, cozy! We stayed 10 days and enjoyed Utrecht as our NL base. Responsive and nice host, who has great info and recommendations in her guest book. Easy (25-min walk) to get to the historic center. Host also provided 2 city bikes, making it so easy to get around. We came by car but didn't need to use it due to walkability of everything. Houseboat is very well designed - it's small but there is organized and efficient space for everything you might need, without sacrificing hominess. Woodstove with plenty of wood and the huge windows overlooking the water make for a very serene stay. We're full time travelers by car in EU/UK/Balkans for over 4 years

Die Ausstattung der Wohnung ist hohe Qualität und einwandfrei sauber. Ellen war gut zu erreichen und sehr freundlich. Es war ein traumhafter Aufenthalt. Wir können es nur weiterempfehlen.
