National Historic Registry Home on UTC Campus Near Downtown

Watch the sun set over Lookout Mountain from a rocker on the 2nd-floor balcony. Winner of the Fort Wood National Historic Renovation Award, this home was built in 1891 by Major Joseph Warner, once a Civil War prisoner of War, as the carriage house for his nearby mansion. On the UTC Campus a short walk to exciting Downtown restaurants and entertainment. A very quiet, safe neighborhood away from customary Downtown or MLK traffic noise patrolled by both Chattanooga and UTC police. Dog friendly rental and neighborhood.
