Holiday rentals with a pool in Idyllwild-Pine Cove

This was hands down the most beautiful and thoughtfully curated home we’ve ever stayed in on Airbnb. The location against the mountains offered absolutely stunning views—especially at sunrise and sunset. The house itself was insane in the best way—architecturally beautiful, with elevated, modern-chic decor that made every room feel like a design magazine spread. The chef’s kitchen was fully stocked with everything you could possibly need, and every inch of the home was spotless and clearly cared for with intention. The outdoor area was just as incredible—gorgeous pool, plenty of space to relax, and peaceful surroundings. Truly no complaints—just gratitude for such an unforgettable stay. We can’t wait to come back!

This villa was lovely, really well equipped, everything you could need. Well cleaned, good amenities washing machine etc. Really quick helpful responses from Todd and Mitch. Quiet neighbourhood. Smooth check in process. It's in quite a windy area but view is lovely, great Airbnb

Truly a hidden gem. The home is in a well maintained community and it was surprising how large the property is. The backyard is massive, immaculate landscaping, beautifully tiled pool, incredible spa. Very private as well, which is a must for myself. Such spacious outdoor areas, and unique flora. It is so calm and serene. And of course the views; look in any direction and you’ll see something beautiful. The layout of the home is open; each bedroom provided guests their own private space, and the open living areas brought us together when we weren’t doing different things, or attending a well known music festival. Myself and fellow guests enjoyed the hiking trails. One even made it his morning routine, the one time I joined him we were feet from big horn sheep. Thank you for everything Dean, we all truly had a wonderful time and your property made that possible. I look forward to future stays

We absolutely loved this place. Would love to come back sometime. We habe been there with my parents and our two little children. The house was perfect and had a lot of space. Everyone of us really enjoyed it.

All the things we loved: Convenient location Private space Tranquil setting Clean & comfy Amazing pool & spa Great kitchen with everything you'll need Bedrooms with outside access 3 bathrooms with nice water pressure. Little things such as dishsoap, coffee, creamer, tea, hot cocoa, sandwich bags, BBQ tools, seasonings, cooking oil, games, puzzles, laundry detergent & dryer sheets, mouthwash, toothpaste, sunscreen, shampoo, conditioner, bodywash, games & puzzles. I can't wait to stay here again. Palmer was super helpful & responded quickly to all inquiries. This was the perfect retreat.

This really is a great place to stay in Palm Springs - the apartment is lovely, super clean and with everything you could possibly need. Comfy bed, lovely furniture and linens. The swimming pool and hot tubs are fabulous with a very nice laid back atmosphere. All of the downtown bars and restaurants are a short walk away. I would definitely stay here again.

The location is great if you want to be within walking distance from downtown, but not close enough to be disturbed by city noises. Grocery, drug store and Starbucks all a short drive or 15/20 walk. I'd recommend this space for anyone visiting Palm Springs. The patio is large and a great place to have a glass of wine and enjoy the mountain view. Enjoy...we did.

Very pleased with our stay here! This rental was exactly what we needed for a relaxing getaway to the desert! The outdoor space is quiet and super-private. We never saw or heard any neighbors, but watched hummingbirds spar overhead as we lounged by the pool. The pool is clean and perfect for floating all afternoon, looking out at the mountains. The spa is a great way to relax under the stars after dinner. The location was great. Close enough to downtown to be a quick drive when hot, or a reasonable stroll when it's cooler. And I appreciated being able to talk an early morning jog around the area. We didn't spend much time indoors, but it's a light, airy, and comfortable space. The kitchen is up-to-date and well-appointed. Communication with the hosts and their assistant was friendly, transparent, and proactive. Very nice people! We will gladly rent this place again when we return to PS for a desert getaway! Highly recommended!

This was the perfect place for my partner and I to spend our anniversary weekend. There were so many wonderful restaurants downtown to choose from, it was incredibly quiet and peaceful, where we stayed, and Jerry and Craig were incredibly responsive and respectful. One thing I would point out is, if you are not a gay man, or a woman celebrating her bachelorette party, the party scene is pretty underwhelming . Aside from that, I’d definitely stay in this exact spot again.

Our history, Matt, was one of the best I’ve ever had. Extremely communicative and accommodating. The unit is clean, comfortable, updated and has unobstructed Mountain Views and an oversized private patio. The gym and pool were well maintained and the neighbors were friendly. Location in south PS is prime. We’ll be back.

Such a wonderful space! Everything was pristine and comfortable, and the vibe is awesome. The amenities-- especially the pool--and the scenic surroundings were the exact thing I needed for this little getaway. Palm Springs offers a great variety of restaurants and things to do, too. Thank you for an all-around wonderful experience!

We loved staying in this fabulous condo at the iconic Ocotillo Lodge, designed by famed midcentury modern architect William Krisel. Although the once spectacular public rooms at the Lodge are now shuttered, the grounds have been beautifully restored with cactus and succulents, and the large landmark champagne-cork shaped pool is beautifully maintained, serenaded (quietly) through the day with delightful recordings of classic Great American Songbook music of the 50's. The Brite Spot condo itself has been wonderfully decorated with handsome vintage furniture and lighting, a very comfortable bed, and beautiful terrazzo tile floors, and boasts a lovely little courtyard with a great old olive tree that throughout the day hosts various singing desert birds. The Lodge no longer has a working bar or restaurant, but coffee, cocktails, great food, and the sights and attractions of Palm Springs - including Krisel's justly famed Twin Palms community - are all just minutes away.

A great find! A group of friends and I take an annual trip and this was a perfect find. The pool was lovely and had ample shade throughout the day (which we needed in the month of June). The house was the perfect size, temperature held just right, and no bugs or anything. The one thing is Palm Springs can get windy so the tree coverage can cause the pool to get a little dirty with foliage. A note that surprised us (but wasn’t necessarily a deterrent) is that the pool is in the front yard; it didn’t feel like it often though because of the high fences and foliage. Ken was also always responsive to texts or messages!

We had the most amazing girls’ weekend at this Palm Springs getaway! We were celebrating a trifecta of joy—my best friend’s wedding, my engagement, and one expecting a baby. The house was the perfect backdrop for our celebrations. We spent most of our time enjoying the beautiful outdoor pool and hot tub, which made it feel like a true retreat. The landscaping was gorgeous, and the space was incredibly clean and well-maintained. Everything felt thoughtful and welcoming. I’d absolutely recommend this place for anyone looking to relax, celebrate, or just enjoy Palm Springs with friends or family!

We had an excellent stay at Shamir’s place, I would highly recommend this property for a group trip as it had all the amenities available for a fun time. It was also close to downtown Palm Springs and very reachable by car. The place itself was very comfortable, spacious and very clean which we really appreciated. Shamir was extremely responsive and made us feel right at home.

I couldn’t have asked for a better rental for our girls trip. All 7 of us were so comfortable with how spacious the house is and the privacy in the back yard. Also, all of the colorful touches and decor are amazing! We thought we were going to go out and about, but we just stayed and enjoyed the beautiful getaway that Patrick has created at this property. Thank you for helping to make this trip so special! We will definitely be booking with you again!

Fantastic airbnb, Jared and his team were super responsive and helpful. The house was as described, super clean, had everything we needed, ample space. The outdoor area was perfect and had lots of shade. the location was close to airport and downtown. Would definitely stay here again!

We loved the house. It's a perfect Palm Springs vibe. The weather was a bit cool the first two days so we enjoyed the fire pit outside at night. The pool is heated and there's lots of outdoor fun and functional space. The instructions for departure were clear and simple. Driving to all the attractions was easy from this location. I would have liked one more day and night to just hang around the pool and house. I would definelty recommend staying here!

We had a great stay! The place was very clean and exactly as advertised. It was incredibly spacious for our group of six, with plenty of room to spread out and relax. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed, and the amenities were excellent, especially the pool, which we really enjoyed. The location was also convenient and close to everything we wanted to do. The only minor issue was that it was a bit challenging to cool down the main house with the A/C. That said, the host was amazingly accommodating and communicative throughout our stay, which made a big difference. Overall, a fantastic experience and we’d definitely recommend!
