Freddy was an incredibly friendly and responsive host, really went above and beyond to ensure a good trip. The location is perfect, just a few minute walk to everything you could want while still maintaining a quiet residential feel.

Let me just say, the pictures don’t do this cute, cozy place justice! I’m big on hospitality and customer service, and Johana and Akos were beyond accommodating and communicative. I would dare to say this is the most accommodating place I’ve experienced so far! The space has such a good energy and flow to it — cozy, inviting, and with a beautiful sunset view from the kitchen window that you can enjoy right from the living room sofa. The views are stunning, and the building itself is upscale, clean, and even smells great! I enjoy playing some of the games that were pervaded( Uno and Jenga) and I appreciated that the TVs had all the apps, HBO, Disney, prime, Netflix etc. It’s in a great location, and I felt very safe throughout my stay. The only con would be some city noise, but it didn’t bother me at all. There’s a nearby train that doesn’t pass often, and again, it wasn’t an issue for me. I would definitely recommend this place!!

We had a lovely stay at Albert’s Glen while passing through Galena on our way to St. Louis. I scored a few bonus points with my husband when he found out we’d be staying in a historc brewery—with a sauna. The space is full of charm and thoughtfully designed touches that made me feel at home. The bed was comfy (especially if you like a firm mattress, like I do), and the water was hot—just what we needed after a long day of motorcycle riding. It’s a short and pleasant walk to downtown, where we enjoyed dinner on the terrazza at Vinny Vanucchi’s and breakfast at Otto’s. Next time we’re in Galena, we’ll be sure to stay longer so we can explore more—and hopefully catch Sandra’s Sunday breakfast!

We stayed at Stephanie’s place for our family vacation and it was amazing! It was extremely clean! That alone was enough to put us at ease. We had an issue with the air conditioning thermostat and Stephanie had it fixed with in an hour! Additionally, the place was larger than the pictures depicted which was a nice surprise. Overall, this was an excellent experience and we highly recommend it to anyone visiting Chicago!

This place was a total hit for our Chicago trip to see Kendrick Lamar! The infrared sauna was a hit, and the area was super chill with plenty of parking. The decor was awesome too - it was full of geeky stuff that we both loved. My partner and I were convinced the decorator could be our friend. The bookshelf downstairs had some really cool books that we didn’t even know existed. We’ll definitely check this place out again when we come back.

Larissa’s vintage home is ideally located in Lincoln Park, a short walk to the metros and buses, and super easy to either get down to the Loop or up the shore. Very peaceful and comfortable. You’ll be greeted by Larissa’s cute little dog Amy. Definitely recommend for an ideal location in Chicago.

Our stay here worked out perfectly. The host was nice, and the location was centrally located to great shopping and restaurants. Very private and safe. The view at night was beautiful.

Absolutely loved our stay! The house was incredibly cozy and had direct river access, a relaxing sauna, a jacuzzi under the stars, and even kayaks for exploring. Perfect for a peaceful getaway. Highly recommend and would love to come back!

We had a group of 15 and this home was absolutely perfect for our stay! There’s a ton of gathering space, especially in the living room where the large couch and footrest easily accommodated everyone. The multiple dining areas upstairs also made mealtimes easy and comfortable. The kitchen was incredibly well-stocked — we cooked every meal for all 15 of us without any issues. Having the extra fridge downstairs was a huge plus for storing all our food and drinks. The outdoor area is truly picturesque. We loved lounging on the deck, soaking in the peaceful surroundings, and listening to the local wildlife. All of the bedrooms were spacious, and it was a huge bonus that everyone upstairs had their own bathroom. The home had everything we needed and more — highly recommend for large groups!

Jason’s place was absolutely wonderful. Literally the best Airbnb experience I’ve had. He communicated clearly and in a timely manner. His place was spotless, full of amenities and just a pleasure to stay at - we felt right at home immediately. I cannot recommend a stay at his property enough. We hope to make it back there to soak up all the beautiful surroundings and solitude it had to offer.

Wow! My wife and I were gobsmacked by how amazing this place was. The pictures did not do it justice. Was this way too much house for two people? You bet! And we loved every minute. The walkout basement with hot tub, sauna, arcade games and a lounge area that leads to a pond is a great place to hang out. There are plenty of rooms, many of them "mini suites" with attached sub-bedrooms and even an occasional sub-sub-bedroom. The surroundings are private and beautiful, the house was immaculate, the solarium is a lovely place to spend some time. There's a great deck (plus another one), lovely views, plenty of wildlife (including a wild turkey!) and the surrounding area is absolutely wonderful if you're into outdoor activities. The birding here is wonderful, with an incredible amount of long-legged birds, Wood Ducks, Mergansers, Kingfishers, and more just a few miles down the road, close to the river(s). We never realized how beautiful the Godfrey/Grafton area is - we'll be back!

In the fridge was somethings fell behind the shelves. Other then that it was very clean. We enjoyed the view it was a good time. Lots to do right there at the house. Our host was very good at responding.

Johnny was extremely accommodating and was there within 20 minutes when I needed him. Very personable and friendly, made me felt like I knew him all my life. Will definitely book again in the future!

By far the coolest airbnb in which I have had the privilege of staying. Small, but so efficient, and masterfully appointed by a talented designer. Exquisite beds and pillows, lovely bathroom, drinks and snacks at the ready and 99 % comped (unless you wanted more than 1 bottle of the several bottles if wine on site - and even then, only 10 bucks). Easy parking. Darling neighborhood. As a woman, I felt so safe there! We even had the pleasure of meeting our host at her beautiful store nearby, which I highly recommend visiting. I already booked another stay. Highly, highly recommended !
