The real gem with fantastic views. Had a great stay

We had a wonderful stay! Jane was incredibly kind, approachable, and always ready to help with anything we needed. She went above and beyond by creating a custom app filled with all the information we could possibly need — from details about the accommodation to recommendations for restaurants, cafes, activities, and more. The attention to detail in the apartment is simply outstanding — everything was thoughtfully arranged to make our stay comfortable and special. The design, cleanliness, and overall atmosphere exceeded our expectations. Truly beautiful, amazing value for money, and we would recommend it 100% to anyone visiting the area. Everything was just perfect: from the communication, the warm welcome and the wonderful place itself. We just loved everything about it: The 360-degree-view, the comfy furnitures, the tasteful design. The big trees in the yard hosts some cute birds which gave a paradise-like feeling. Julie gave us some really helpful recommendations which we all tried to. Loved the local restaurants close by. There’s also a big supply close by where we bought everything we needed to make breakfast in the spacy, well-equipped kitchen. Also, there’s a nice French bakery close by. The filtered water as well as the washing machine are a nice addition. We would recommend a rental car to get around as the place is a bit off the main areas. Though if you don’t mind walking, the local beach and the Tamarin beach are within about a 30-minute walk. We hope we can come back some time! Definitely one of our favorite Airbnbs so far!

We were in this beautiful accommodation for the first days of our trip and felt right at home. We would have preferred to stay there for the entire trip. Marie Lou and her husband were great hosts - friendly, helpful and communicative. There were even welcome treats, how sweet! The accommodation had everything you need, both in the living area, bedroom, kitchen, as well as outside. The accommodation has the perfect location: just around the corner (we had a car) are numerous nature reserves with great hiking opportunities, beautiful beaches, great and delicious restaurants (Nomad & Vanilla Village were super good!), lots of good shopping and a great neighborhood. We thought that you somehow "have to" go to a fancy hotel for your honeymoon, but to be honest, it was even nicer and more private in the AirBnb. We would definitely come back! Just returned from a week at Marine’s flat and we are so pleased with the value for money we have got from staying here. For us, the location was perfect as it is quiet, with direct access to the beach and an incredible, large private patio which was shaded throughout. We visited the pool almost every day and only once saw someone else using it; it felt like our own private pool! The apartment has all the amenities a couple needs for their stay and Marine enabled us to have an early check-in and a late check-out at no extra cost, and was readily available before, during and after our stay. We recommend “l’envol” which is a very local pizza place and doesn’t seem to have a very big social media presence. We will definitely be coming back!

We had a wonderful time! The apartment is perfect for a few days in the south of Mauritius! It has everything you need and we felt very comfortable. Only the street was a bit noisy but you get used to it. I would stay here again anytime.

Fantastic Apartment!!! We stayed for 2 weeks at Emmanuel's apartment and loved every day. The apartment is spacious, has incredible sunset views and is fully equipped to cook meals at home. I think it was one of the most peaceful and quiet apartments we have stayed in over the past 7 years. The washing machine was greatly appreciated for such a long stay. Emmanuel is the best host, he communicated promptly with us prior to and during our stay. He even managed to find a blender for us to make our breakfast fruit smoothies. He provided all sorts of local recommendations of places to eat and visit and allowed us to stay well beyond check out time because of our 7:30pm flight off the island. Don't hesitate to book this apartment if it's available. If we ever get back to Mauritius we would definitely stay here again. Thanks for hosting us!! Susan & Blair from Canada
