We want you to stay in this historic mountain town for a while, so we basically accept reservations for 2 nights or more. Located in the town next to Narai-juku, Nakasendo's post town, a historic town that has flourished as a region for lacquerware from the Edo period. It was selected as an Important Preservation District for Groups of Traditional Buildings, and was built in 1931 in this town, where lacquerware shops are still lined up. Limited to one group per day without meals, you can use the entire house. I think the charm of Hirasawa is the beauty and richness of everyday life. It would be nice if you could stay like living in this old town, such as reading, walking, local sake (sake, wine), and sleeping slowly. We also post our daily activities on social media, so please take a look. There are no screen doors in an old house in the valley of the mountains, so natural creatures may come in during the warmer months. The 93-year-old building is not polished in detail. We try to keep it as clean as possible, but we would appreciate it if you could come with a big heart.

This is a small private rental inn with a renovation of a hundred-year-old earthenware storehouse in a town with a view of the two alps in Inagaya, Nagano Prefecture. It is a 10-minute drive to the Komagatake Ropeway bus stop, making it the perfect location for mountain climbing, skiing, and learning about Japanese rural life. Sake and miso factories are also close by. The altitude is about 700 m and the stars are beautiful at night if the weather is clear. We also offer free bicycle rentals (2 bikes) for those who wish. Good access to Shimosuwa Station! We renovated an 80-year-old Japanese house into a traditional and clean space. (New open in 2023!) You can spend a comfortable time by renting the entire building. Recommended for families, couples and small groups. This area is rich in history and nature. Suwa Taisha Shrine, hot springs, Nakasendo. Hiking in the mountains and strolling around Lake Suwa are also recommended ways to spend your time. It's also great to explore the Suwa area on a rental bicycle.

Sanson Terrace "off-grid tiny cottage"

In Ohinata, Sakuho-town, Nagano-pref. We built a small cottage at a mountain side of the natural woodland which separated for a while from the colony. The time flows graceful here, while the interval of farm labor or works in the mountain. It is a special time to have Coffee or Beer while looking at Mt. Morai on the other side. You can spend time, being surrounded by nature... reading books slowly, taking a walk the mountain, listening songs of birds while lie on a hammock in the forest.
