The Historic Maddox House is owned by the former president of the South Carolina Bed and Breakfast Association and a retired Air Force Fighter Pilot. Once you arrive and walk up a few steps standing on the wraparound front porch facing historic Madison Main Street your senses will be heightened knowing that this home was built during the Civil War in 1863. Located about 20 minutes from French Lick Resort and Casino, Patoka Lake, Marengo Cave and Cave Country Canoes. You’ll love the loft because of the country setting, nestled in the trees. The loft is very comfortable and offers peace and quite with a contemporary, calming atmosphere. The loft is great for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families (with kids).

The kitchen features quartz counters, a large farmhouse sink, really nice appliances and thoughtful touches everywhere. The wifi is excellent. Have issues with stairs? This is not a good choice for you. If you're up for stairs and want a unique slice of history in a hip package then you will not be disappointed.
