Hostel holiday rentals in Interlaken-Oberhasli District

This is a perfect hostel in Gimmelwald. Just right next to the Cable car. I don’t mind the bunkbed set up but if you do, this might not be the place for you. But you’ll be missing out of the perfect view to wake up and relax after a long day hike. Plus the breakfast is also perfect and enough to kickstart your day. Will be coming back for sure.

Positives (for me)-: - Great location (next to bus stop), walking distance from ost interlaken, Main Street etc. - Good vibe- big open shared public spaces in the hostel, huge public garden (the biggest in interlaken?) in front of the hostel. - very basic but decent breakfast- flavoured yogurt with crunchy muesli, toast with jam, butter and cheese with an espresso and an orange juice - friendly staff - Nitin was better than a front office staff of a deluxe hotel in explaining how things work, where to go etc. - clean and tidy bathrooms, rooms etc. - fantastic view from room (best point for me) Negatives (for me)-: - Size of room, had to leave luggage in the lockers (provided free) and bring only basic stuff to room. - shared bathroom (I was the lucky one, my bathroom was just close enough to the room to be close also and not disturbing also due to noise). End of the day I knew all the negatives before hand since it’s clear on there page- it’s a hostel and not a hotel, Would recommend

location is not the best, around 15 min walk from either the west or lost station.

Location Great Easy to get to West or Ostna Visitor tickets in advance? (Bus Ticket) You can take them at the station Walking distance if you have less luggage The accommodation was a quadruple room, but in the picture, there were two bunk beds on the wall. There are two bunk beds attached to the middle, so it's a small space even if you don't use it. I used it narrower It's expensive, but if you think about the price of the nearby accommodation, it's also affordable. The common space, especially the cooking space, was so good that throughout my stay It was so good to cook and eat

The view was stunning. I enjoyed having lunch with alpines and I really did appreciate the good quality breakfast that was included in the plan. Also, it is close to murren, where hiking trails are super popular. Most of all, board games and cozy atmosphere allowed me to make many hostel friends from the world.

Excellent location, everything is very well organised. Simple, clean, basic in a good way. I would avoid the dorms due to snorers, but that‘s a personal call.

As listed. Clean hostel living. Comfortable location and space for family of 5 with private room and bathroom. Had all listed amenities. Kids (and parents) enjoyed the brief stay in a new type of environment!

For me, it is a great location when we visited Interlaken. Friendly and nice host. Just be careful with the bus to the center as it just goes there every hour.

This hostel was super charming and has a great outdoor space with lake access. Would stay again!

Central location- 7 min from the West Station - and about 20 min to the Ost Station / the hostel is clean, the room and the bathroom have a great size ; the communication with the receptionist was easy and gentle ; I recommend and wish to come back soon

Great place and easy access to trains station, just right beside of it.

It’s super close to the OST train station and has couple of coop stores right next to it along with some good restaurants. Breakfast option is very nice. Room comfort is not great but it matches the description. We took the room that had the restroom attached to it and if you are traveling with kids, highly recommend taking that option. They also have little play area by the lobby that our kids enjoyed a lot.
