Flatlet by the sea

The house overlooks the Irish sea facing south/south west at the front and overlooking a tennis court (public) and golf course at the rear. Views are special with great walks on your doorstep. The house is a 15 minute walk to the village centre and under 10 minutes brisk walk to the local Pub. The suite is on the ground floor at the rear of the house with its own access. Small Inflatable beds can be provided for up to 2 at a small extra charge. Food available on a self service basis as agreed.

Margaret is our fantastic shepherd’s hut

Our cute and cosy shepherd's hut gives you the best of both worlds. Hidden in a green oasis next to a waterfall and near the beach, the hut is just a short walk from Laxey's pubs, restaurants and shops. Our hut has a full size double bed with a proper premium mattress, a bathroom with all the facilities and a fully equipped living area that gives cooking, eating and sitting space. Our hut is a tiny house, not a big tent- all that you need is cleverly fitted into a stylish, cosy hideaway for two.

It has a super king sized bed, lounge area with wood-fired stove and 55” TV with Freesat, wi-fi, fully-equipped kitchen area and spacious shower room. It is fully insulated, for cosy stays all year round. It is set in the grounds of Ballawyllin Farm within our orchard area. It has its own outside patio area, exclusive access to an outdoor hot tub, and shared access to a sauna, set in a separate patio area.

Ideal if you love peaceful countryside location with wild birds and rabbits yet want to be a walking distance to shopping and entertainment, or TT course. Good base for exploring the island, with private parking and easy access to bus and train station, as well as footpaths. Dolls House annex has private entrance and outdoor sitting/dining area. Unique historic lighthouse building in a stunning location with peace and tranquility. Foghorn cottage is only minutes from the capital Douglas and all amenities, but feels so remote and wonderfully free. Please note, the cottage is only accessible by foot via the footpath across the beach or from the top of Douglas head. 200 steps one way. (takes about 5 minutes to walk) Short video is available if required.
