Great place to stay at, place a next to a sinful ice cream shop. 😂 the interior is spotless, everything is nicely placed and it even comes with a projector for some movie screening! It is definitely worth the price and a place we will come back to whenever in the area. 😁

Airi was very friendly and helpful, we stayed at her apartment, which was lovely and had a beautiful view of the sea. The surroundings were spectacular but maybe were bit difficult to move by foot, but there were busses that connected to shimoda station.

This was an excellent stay for our family. The home was clean and comfortable, and had a well stocked kitchen. Easy walk from the train station with a good handful of restaurants nearby and a wonderful view of the ocean from the kitchen windows. The hosts were always friendly, helpful, and responsive. Usami is a lovely, quiet little town, and the train station makes other attractions in the area fairly accessible. Staying here was a very special experience, and I recommend it for anyone who wants to take it slow for a few days.

This was the best host I have EVER stayed with. Picked me up from the station and brought me home. Drove me back after check out. Had free bike rentals. All this saved me money, time, and hassle. Then during the day I got a flat tire on the bicycle and he came and picked me up! Asked if I was okay and gave me another bicycle. I was thinking he would be upset I messed up the bike. Went above and beyond in every aspect and was the best host you could ask for. Very kind and non transactional with his help. 100 out of 10 stars.

Great place to stay right next to the train station. Beautiful views of Fuji right out the window. Many shops, cafes, restaurants, and points of interest within a few minutes walk. Stayed for two nights with my family and we had no issues at all. Don’t miss the Forest Music Museum!

We had a great stay and no complaints about the property. It was spotlessly clean, check in and check out were seamless and there was cleaning products left for us as well as a fully furnished kitchen. We were very comfortable the entire time. The hill is no problem if you are relatively fit but getting our suitcases up the first day was a bit tough. If you are looking for a hub between Odawara and Hakone, this location works fine and the accommodation is very close to Iriuda station, however if you plan to explore areas like Mt. Hakone / lake ashi it does take a little more time to reach from this location.

I had a lovely stay in at Noriko’s place. The views are stunning from end to end. The house is so well designed, decorated, and organized. Everything is perfectly placed for when you need it. I was so relaxed here spending a lot of time on the porch and slept so well in the comfortable bed. Noriko is so kind and sweet. She always made sure I was comfortable and helped me with anything I needed. She made a reservation for me at Food Chant which I highly recommend you do if you want a beautifully prepared and special meal. She also drove me to the train station on my way out which was a nice way to relieve travel day stress. The beautiful beach is about 15 minutes walking, full disclosure there is a steep hill back home but worth it to stay here even if you are relying on walking. The bus stop is also right after the hill and the bus is easy to use to go into Shimoda. I adore Noriko and would absolutely love to come back and relax in this fantastic home.

It was a lovely and open house where the children were overjoyed. We stayed as a family of 4, and both children and parents enjoyed it without any inconvenience. I was grateful for the preparation of tableware, towels, futons, etc. that were not a problem even for a large number of people. I cooked my own food, but I regretted not bringing any seasoning. The road to the house is narrow and bumpy, and I was worried for a moment, but if you go slowly even in the rain, it's no problem.

Although the exact location is slightly far from major downtown areas, it is easy to travel. The room was very clean, had many amenities, and they were very clear with communication and expectations. Would recommend!

I loved this location! Even better than the location was the host. I made a mistake with booking and Aki was so helpful and accommodating, she was able to get me a nearby place for the first night until I was able to get into the Cabana for my stay.

There are many facilities in the vicinity, and I was able to enjoy them on foot.

The room was very clean and I went with 10 people, but we were able to relax sufficiently.Cooking utensils were also available, and I enjoyed cooking.There was also a sauna on the veranda, and I was able to enter it in the perfect heat, and I was very satisfied with everything.

Shoko is by far the best host I have ever encountered. She was attentive and kind and helped with all our needs. She was diligent and communicative and we felt very looked after. The property is fantastic and I will be recommending it to anyone I know visiting the area. Well worth a trip even if you aren’t in the area!

The place is located on the hill with the amazing mountains and ocean view and prestine facilities just as shown in the photos. You can also ask Yukitoshi san for the private boat fishing. It was very relaxing and fun at the same time! You can bring the fish you've caught to their restaurant and they will cook them for you. That was quite a remarkable experience! I will definitely come back here again! The host is very responsive and kind as well. Strongly recommend to stay this place of you are looking for something slightly rural and Onsen(Hot spring) experiences!

The condo is located right off the main drag and directly across from a semi-private cove of one of the best beaches in Shimoda! The photos are true to life, the place was in pristine condition, all appliances worked out perfectly, and the bedding was super comfortable! Cheryl is a great hostess! The one thing we wish we could have changed was the weather, as it was misty and windy during our stay, and then of course, the sun popped out the day we had to leave :( Hoping we can get a do-over and land Cheryl's place again some day!

My stay was very nice and cozy though the condo building felt quiet. Rei has great taste in design and furnishing to make her guests feel at home. Recommend to drive here so that you could explore around freely.

It's so nice to stay quiet There's also a nearby proximity and Aeon Mall, so it's the best.

Yoko’s place is great for couples and small families. We brought our dog and he loves the place too. Her place is convenient placed near some famous Hakone spots, making it easy to navigate around town.

This is a truly wonderful place to stay—surrounded by nature and filled with an incredible sense of peace, accompanied by the gentle sound of birds and a flowing river. Honestly, the photos don’t do it justice; the property is even more beautiful in person, and I’m so glad we chose it. Eriko was a fantastic host, always attentive and thoughtful. We walked to an onsen just 10 minutes away, which was an amazing experience. The private onsen on the property was perfect for my little girls (5 and 7 years old), and enjoying breakfast on the balcony with the sound of the river in the background felt absolutely magical. I highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here again the next time we visit Hakone.
