Holiday rentals in Jasper County

Jessica's place was lovely, and as described by the pictures. there's plenty of room to run/trials for my dog and the kitchen was stocked with all sorts of snacks and amenities. the bed is the softest bed I've ever slept on, and the sheets were super soft, I slept so well at Jessica's. It's definitely secluded, and out of the way, but it was perfect for for our weekend. Jessica was always available. My only qualm was that the bedroom is above the garage doors, so when the owners open the garage in the morning, there's a loud grinding noise coming from underneath. To note, my partner never heard these doors once, only me. I would definitely stay here again, if not just for the great night sleep I had. Depending on your service provider you may not get service in this area.

Immaculately clean and extremely comfortable is the way I would describe this house. I have stayed at many short term rentals over the years and this was the best. We were only there for 3 days but Vickie has gone out of her way to anticipate every need plus there were perks of coffee and snacks. Newton is a delightful town and you can easily walk to the square or Legacy plaza for a bite to eat from this house. Vickie has complied a book full of things to do.

This was a nice getaway for my family, we enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful home surrounded by peaceful scenery! We especially enjoyed the fire pit, outdoor furniture, and spacious kitchen for a family weekend. The games and large couch in the basement were perfect for gathering! Bathrooms were very clean and beds were cozy. We would definitely stay again!

The house was just as advertised. We attending my daughter's graduation at Grinnell College which is almost a 30 minute drive away, but everything closer was sold out for graduation weekend. As such, we really only used the house for sleeping and showering. The kitchen/dining area was very nice, but we didn't use it at all. Didn't spend much time in Newton, either. Climate controls in house also made for a comfortable stay.

This cabin nestled in the woods on a large property with hiking trails was super charming and we loved seeing the huge variety of birds at the bird feeder by the kitchen window. It was an outstanding place to gather for our daughter's college graduation from nearby Grinnell College. We found it comfortable and well outfitted and we enjoyed the outdoors and sitting around the fire pit in the evening.
