Zelta Krogs, 4-bed room-A
Located in the very heart of Piebalga, the current ZELTA KROGS has taken its name from the old Zelta Krogs that once stood nearby. The fathers of E. Dārziņš and J. Sudrabkalns worked as innkeepers in this tavern. Currently, the old pub is in ruins, and a museum “Jāņaskola” has been established nearby for the sons of both pub owners. However, the new ZELTA KROGS has continued its public life in various ways over time, and at the beginning of 2024 it was rebuilt and renovated, reopening its doors as an elegant guest house with 4 bedrooms for 12 guests.
