Tiny house holiday rentals in Java

I have a fantastic time staying with Yang & family. The host is great and the place is well furnished and complete. Abang Erwin, being the host was driving to places and visit. He brought me to have a lunch when during the Hari Raya , most of the eateries is closed. He also show me around the neighbourhood and introduced me to the local people and even a prominent oil-painting artist - Encik Sony ; where he bought a nice piece of land along the major river in Borobudur. I also went to Amanjiwo to have a nice lunch and coffee courtesy to ABang Erwin hospitality. This is a nice place to stay in the vicinity of local people and neighborhood. Food is great. Room is decent. Stay here!

We (a couple) stayed for almost 2 weeks in this tiny house and definitely love it! I think this is one of the best airbnb we’ve ever stayed in Indonesia. We loved the design of the house, especially the loft part! The house is clean and well-maintained. The furnitures are minimalist and functional with good quality. The location is excellent to have a relaxing holiday in Jogja area, easy to access but not too close to crowded areas. The surrounding garden and mountainous air are refreshing, especially in the morning. Bu Tami is an excellent host with quick response to our questions and inquiry. She gives detail attentions to our necessities (such as home slippers, umbrella, even a local welcome snack!) that are really useful and enjoyable. Pak Lilik and Bu Yati (the housekeepers) are also helpful and responsive to our inquiry. Overall, we really recommend this villa to anybody plan to visit Jogja!

Erik's place was fantastic. Very clean and cozy place with everything you needed. In a great location, right near heaps of great places to eat! Bu Annie was very nice, easy to talk to, friendly, and welcomed us. Flexible with check-in and check-out time, which was extremely helpful. We looking forward to staying here again.

Bobbi's place was just as I expected, everything was like in the pictures, beautiful to have breakfast right on our porch overlooking the pool and the rice terraces. In the evening everything is well enlightened. Temperature was nice and in the night not need put aircon on .

Initially, I booked here for only one night because I felt comfortable for our family. I finally extended it to Two nights. The environment is comfortable, relaxed, and clean kitchen and atmosphere like home. When visiting Kaliurang, I will stay here again and recommend it to friends who want to vacation in the Kaliurang tourist area.

this is the 2nd time i am staying here and i feel extremely welcomed every time. extremely peaceful and the food is outstandingly fresh & delicious

Where to begin... this was for us the absolute best accommodation we could imagine, in Batu Karas but also on our 2 month trip we have never felt so at home and welcomed ever. Ingrid and Dadang are fantastic hosts and you will have a great time with them. They give you a very tasty breakfast every morning, and there are bikes you can borrow which we apprecierad a lot. We booked for 3 nights but stayed for 2 weeks (!). So if you want an authentic experience of a village life in Indonesia, love to surf and relax then you should go here and of course stay with Ingrid and Dadang! I really hope we will come back one day.

I really love the place! Everything is so unique and beautiful. It’s pretty close from one hut to another hut but it’s totally fine. Love the overall ambience of the place and the room!

The villa is nice, kids friendly too because it has a spacious garden to play. Moreover, there is one villa that access is close to the parking lot, a recommendation if you bring parents who can't walk up/far. Overall we are very satisfied to spend the night in this villa.. we will come back again in the future. Thank you!

A humble place away from the city and great for those who want to be in nature and enjoy the scene. The family is very friendly and nice to communicate. I really enjoyed the stay.

The place is quiet and close to entertainment access. We came with toddlers, their impression was that they liked the place. The host is friendly and responsive. PS: there is a cute cat, you can always put it out if you don't like cats.

Lovely place with even better people who’s taking care about it. You can spend all your time at Karimunjawa just at this place and you want be missing anything. Everything is new and clean they don’t use any plastic if possible which is really good specially here in Indonesia. We had just one night at Karimunjawa but we have chosen the best place on the island and for sure we will be back when we get here again. Long story short: Just choose this place.

A truly, truly amazing experience! The sincerity in their service was beyond words. The fact that such an affordable price included breakfast was already impressive, but to my surprise, it also included dinner. I was genuinely astonished. Moreover, I was staying alone, yet they provided me with portions meant for two—both for dinner and the next morning’s breakfast. Such generosity and sincerity were truly touching. One moment that left a deep impression on me was in the morning when they delivered breakfast. They knocked on my door, and I assumed they had left it on the table in the courtyard, just like they did with dinner. So, I took my time freshening up, and only opened the door more than ten minutes later. To my surprise, two staff members were still standing there, each holding a tray with my breakfast, patiently waiting outside my door. In that instant, I felt both guilty and deeply moved. We booked this accommodation to participate at the Waisak day at Borobudur and had a wonderful stay. Wawat (hopefully the name is spelled correct) gave us a very warm welcome and we had a lot of fun with him. The breakfast was served in a buffet style, with toast, homemade marmalade and Indonesian food like tempeh and eggs. The only downside was the noise from the street, which can be heard when you book the deluxe room facing the road, as the roof is build in a traditional way and is not fully closed. Besides that the location was great as it is near to the temple. Walking to the main entrance will take a while but I think if it is not Waisak day you will be able to enter on another gate, which is nearer. Thanks to the whole team for the wonderful stay!
