Me and my girlfriend booked this stay for my 40th birthday. The view from the jacuzzi on the balcony was amazing. The town of Jayuya is just a few minutes away and was enjoyable to visit. Lots of restaurants tucked away in the mountains and the locals are super friendly. There are also trails nearby that lead you to the river which we thoroughly enjoyed. El Sanctuario was the perfect getaway and romantic. We went back and forth about staying in San Juan or in the mountains and we are glad we chose the mountains. If we could give more than 5 stars we would. Dora was very helpful as was her staff. The restaurant above the Air BnB was delicious and we enjoyed the complimentary drink. Absolutely recommend staying here if you are looking to get away from the city life and enjoy the beauty of nature. We will definitely be booking here again when we go back to Puerto Rico.

I had a great time. Richard was very nice and responded quickly whenever I needed something. The place is quiet, relaxing and very spacious. Everything was very clean and well taken care of. The bed is comfortable and rests very well. In addition, it is close to many rivers and scenic routes, perfect for disconnecting and enjoying nature. ¡I recommend it!

This home has peace of mind, relax with your whole family! It is very special , it is in the mountains of the countryside it has the river nearby, near the village of Jayuya, and of all the attractions, you can breathe fresh air, it does not have much traffic, parking is safe , we have Camaras on the property, no one enters unless they come to stay in the house , it is a family atmosphere,and you are in contact with nature all the time, and we have the neighbors distant from the property.

A 20th century home from early 1920's located in downtown Jayuya. The house is located in front of the town's Plaza. It is an antique house which was recently refurbished in its entirety, while preserving the original architectural facade of the house. Jayuya is a small town where you can explore coffee shops & farms, local theme restaurants & bars, ziplines, rivers, and museums. It's surrounded by the highest mountains in PR (Tres Picachos, Cerro Maravilla and Cerro Punta).

This is an absolutely gorgeous place to stay. Jesus and Madelyn are very communicative, provide great directions for how to get around the area/avoid road work, and find places to eat. The farm itself is peaceful with incredible views of the sunset and innumerable coqui to sing you off to sleep. Takes a while driving to get to the nearest town, and the roads in are somewhat treacherous, so recommend bringing what you might need with you on the way in to avoid hassle. Once you’re there, it’s heavenly.

Not recommended for people with problems climbing stairs. To go from/to the apartment, there is a stair that can be a little stiff for old people like us.😜 Other than that, wonderful!

Vidal and his family are amazing hosts. They are very friendly and have a sense of hospitality. The cabin was peaceful and surrounded by nature. It was a great place to unplug and relax.
