Gorgeously situated close to the amazing Kistefoss museum and Hadeland Glassworks, this cozy studio was perfect for three. Trude welcomed us personally which made checking in like visiting family. Our stay did not consist of cooking meals, but there are facilities and cookware to utilize if needed, with a very good coffee maker. Comfy , soft linens and lots of closet space. A nice touch with clean UV-treated toilet. I will be staying here every future visit to the area.

Highly recommend this home for a stay. Large living room and kitchen and bedrooms. Wifi worked great and had access to numerous tv channels on cable TV. Everything is within walking distance. Cute little town with a waterfall to visit as well as convenient nature walk along the river. Neighborhood very quiet. John greeted us and showed us around the house when we arrived.

Cannot thank Gunhild enough for not just sorting our stay at no notice but the flexibility in extending it and giving us time and space to get our lives sorted. A total god send when travelling around Norway I ended up getting admitted for emergency surgery and my wife needed somewhere to stay and then for me to recuperate - Gunhild was nothing short of fantastic. Having said that regardless of the situation the apartment was really lovely, very comfortable, well equipped, very clean with beautiful views that help you relax and in my case recover. Cannot reccommend this enough - hopefully though not for other people to recover from surgery.

Practical place with garden and view

Spacious apartment with patio, fjord view and morning sun. Living room/kitchen, bathroom and two bedrooms with double beds. Made up beds and towels for guests. Walking distance to grocery store and sports facilities with football field, frisbee golf and hiking trails. 15 minutes walk to the fjord. The hiking area Holleia offers good gravel roads that take you to beautiful fishing lakes and nice swimming areas: Search "Vælaren". Electric Car Charger Type 2 which charges up to 7.2kW/h and is 230V 32A 1-phase. Charging by appointment. We are open for longer stays.

Stay in the middle of Hønefoss city center!

From this place in a perfect location you have easy access to everything. 5 min walk to bus e.g. to Oslo. Stay in the heart of Hønefoss. This is a newly renovated apartment. It has well equipped kitchen, large roof terrace with outdoor furniture overlooking the city and sun conditions at all hours. Large double bed, but can also make two inflatable mattresses. Great restaurants and cultural life a stone's throw away. Short distance to Hadeland glassworks and the Kistefossmuseet. There is free parking nearby.
