Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Johor Bahru

We were so impressed upon checking in that we started texting our friends almost immediately, recommending this place for their upcoming trip to JB. Host (Eric): Replies quickly and communicates clearly before and during the stay. Listing is true to photos and description. Thoughtful gestures like offering late check-out without being asked are especially appreciated—particularly during our one-night stays with long travel ahead, especially we were traveling with elderly family members and children with special needs. A stocked fridge at no charge is also a standout touch. Muslim-friendly utensils are available in special locked cabinets. The house: All areas are impeccably clean and comfortable. Air conditioning and water heaters are fully functioning, and the bathrooms are equipped with extractors. Built and finished using premium materials throughout. Pool and BBQ area were a highlight. Value for money: offers excellent quality and experience for the price.

Dina’s place was amazing. It was large enough to accommodate our family of 8 adults 2 kids, and the driveway in the compound is large enough to park 2 cars. The amenities in the house were great, TV and Internet works well and the swimming pool was nice good size for the kids to enjoy. Overall a private, safe, quiet estate with security guards on duty. Dina is also very responsive and generous - we had a whole complimentary cake waiting for us! Overall great stay. Will recommend.

We were travelling with extended family and there were a grand total of 11 of us. We had a room each and the house catered right ot our need. Everything was clean and functional. The location felt safe and there were malls and eateries within driving proximity. We spent 1 of the day in Legoland and again, the location was close to places of attraction. Will definitely return again.

House was really clean, feet feels great on the floor. Different facilities to engage both young and old in the house. A lot of space to hang out and chill. Comfortable sleep. Has everything needed, including slippers to hangout at the outdoor area. Host was warm and welcoming, sending clear instructions for check in and recommendations of places to go. The host is extremely nice and pro-active, even messaging me on the day itself that the house is ready early and I can check in early if I wish, though I didn't request for it. On my last day, as it takes time to call grab for the large group, host was kind and understanding when I asked for 15mins extra time during check out. House is big enough to house a big group and has sufficient toilets. Still feels spacious even with 14 of us.

whatever you see is whatever you get and that's absolutely worth it. the place is huge for a my group of 4. we were there for only one night with a VERY HOT weather. the aircond works fine but took long to cook the living areas. other than that, would love to return. host was very responsive which is greatly appreciated 👍

Tempat yg selesa utk gathering family atau friends, bbq dan swimming was awesome. Billik selesa, kelengkapan sgt bgs. Host sgt responsive dan helpful, masalah diselesaikan dgn cepat. Recommended.

Nice place to get together with your siblings families. Mr. ben is really proactive. Ms. su and uncle leong also helpful. communication is no problem at all. Big dinning hall for all of is to have a breakfast lunch n dinner. karaoke room is good. both 2nd floor master bed room bed is comfortable. amenities and convenience shops is nearby. and about less than 10min to tebing dato onn. automated gate with outdoor cctv. the house is quite old but bali vibes. swimming pool need to clean a bit due to the fallen leaves from the garden area. just follow the house rules especially when throw rubbish. must do it properly if not monkey will do "outdoor party" at the rubbish bin. overall wonderful experience.

Bed was comfortable, and cleanliness was decent. Appreciate that the hosts were responsive and friendly. Some snacks were even provided. No issues with collection of keys. Finding the right parking lot was confusing at first, but detailed instructions were provided (video provided). After figuring it out the first time, we had no issue navigating the carpark subsequently. Shampoo and body soap is provided (no conditioner). If you have sensitive skin, recommend that you bring your own shampoo. Location is not bad— near KSL. It’s a bustling area, good options for food to drive to. Just note that call to prayer from can be heard in the early morning.

Great location, clean apartment, awesome view from 24th floor. It would enhance our experience further if there could be mirrors placed in the bedrooms too. Mirrors are only fixed in the bathrooms.

Best host ever, Some hiccups but the host took time to call me to assure us she is gonna fix the problem. She even refunded us for the first day stay and 20% off for our next booking with her. She handled the situation swiftly. And not forgetting we checked in after midnight and she was able to reply and call me to explain and apologise soo many times. Such a nice caring person. Highly recommend. Apartment was super nice view. Very cosy. Only had to wait for the lift. Took forever. But it’s normal. Thank you Host;)🥰😍😍

Sapphire’s home is absolutely beautiful! It is clean, stylish, and very comfortable. It was the perfect place to relax and unwind. The location was great, and everything we needed was thoughtfully provided. More importantly, Sapphire was an amazing host…super responsive, warm, and incredibly accommodating to all my requests. Her hospitality made the stay even more special. I would highly recommend this place to anyone and would definitely love to return in the future!

Friendly host, responsive to my messages. Clean and well-equipped home with essential amenities like a washing machine, cooking pot, oven, and more. Loved the fun corner with rock climbing — perfect for the kids to burn off some energy!

Host provided a number of homestay facilities like Netflix, hot/cold water dispenser, some light snacks. Overall the place is very cozy and feels at home. A number of good places to eat nearby, though walking could be hot depending on the time of the day. Food ordering through apps - delivery riders able to send without any issue

Everything was a breeze from placing the reservation to checking out. Cathryn maintained the residence very well and it was a homely and lovely accommodation.

Our main reason was to visit Legoland, but it was probably less than a 10-minute walk to the attraction. Instructions were provided a day before, clear, no issue with check-in and check-out. Only a damaged chair, which was a slight issue when we were having dinner on the 2nd day. Kids had fun with the slide and ball pit. Bunk bed for my 2 kids as well. Had a small corner with a game console, but we did not use it. The projector was also something quite cool, on it to test out on the first night. Good idea, which I might be doing for my own house. Had a kitchenette area and a bathtub too.

The apartment was newly renovated with a smart home in design. We are impressed with the lightings in the house, electric curtains and kitchen appliances etc. In our opinion, this apartment would score perfect 10 if the projector tv just be a smart tv (unable to watch clearly under dim lighting, unlike tv - apps not user friendly) & the water purifier be easier to operate (no water - always prompt need to clean & top up). Having said that, it was not a complaint. We have a great time staying at the place. Recommended to all, especially family with kids.

We had a lovely stay at this cozy 1-bedroom unit. The space is well-furnished and thoughtfully laid out, making it very comfortable. The view from the higher floor was fantastic, really added to the relaxed, peaceful vibe of the place. Location-wise, it’s perfect for us, just a stone’s throw from Paradigm Mall, which made shopping incredibly convenient. The building itself offers nice amenities, including a pool, a small playground, and a tiny gym. Security was friendly and helpful, and everything felt safe and well-managed throughout our stay. The only minor issue was the TV remote, which could be more user-friendly. But overall, a great stay and would definitely consider returning!

Felt home immediately upon entering. Kids were excited of the pool view. Least time spent on gadgets as the unit provides toys and books for them to enjoy. Felt cozy enough for my family to sleep soundly. Host was very attentive to our enquiries. Will definitely return whenever in JB again. Many thanks.

It’s convenient for everything we need, we no need to carry overload luggage or bags to climb staircase, just loading at the lobby . Besides that, it’s reli convenient for finding food and kids friendly shop and supermarkets surroundings, few minutes to reach Legoland and snow land by walking . Absolutely enjoyable at the stay place , comfortable environment

Had a fab stay at Kym’s place! 🧳✨ Super easy to find and just a stone’s throw from City Square Mall—perfect for food, shopping, or emergency bubble tea runs. 😄 Check-in and check-out were smooth, and the apartment had everything I needed, right down to the tiniest detail. Kym was a gem—quick to respond and gave instructions so clear even my GPS felt appreciated. 📍 Only one bummer: the sofa had seen better days (looked like someone forgot what a coaster—or common sense—was 🥲). So here’s a friendly note to fellow guests: let’s help keep the place lovely for everyone and treat it like our own home (except maybe cleaner). 💁🏻‍♀️✨ Would definitely book again—minus the mystery stains!

Had an absolute wonderful stay. Unit: Exact match of what is shown in the pictures. Spotless clean. Bed linens, towels, toilet and living space are really clean. Had everything ready including toiletries for a ready stay. Wifi provided is super fast. Shower pressure is also strong for an enjoyable bath. Multiple aircon units with a ceiling fan in the living space. Unit comes fully equipped with many electronic appliances and kitchen ware including a game console for kids. Host: Very responsive, replies almost instantly to clarify any queries. LC is also very hospitable, was suprised that she even provided welcome snacks (plus point). Location: Literally walkable distance to Bigbox (5mins) and nearby eateries. Regretfully stayed for only one night, yet to immerse and enjoy the cosy unit fully. Will not think twice about staying here if i were to visit this area again. Overall fantastic unit and fabulous host. Highly recommended.
