Salem and his team are juste amazing! They make you feel at home since the beginning and the camp feels so welcoming. We were able to go on day trip around the desert with Mohammed, his nephew, who was very helpful and kind. I definitely recommend it, it's the best you can find in Wadi Rum for sure!

Amazing experience from start to finish. Food was good and the tea was excellent. Good fun climbing and hiking around the desert. They cater for vegan/ vegetarians by default as meat/veg is not mixed together when meals are served.

An absolutely amazing stay at camp. Everything we imagined it to be and more. With beautiful surroundings and lovely staff I really loved my time there. Salem was a great host and made sure to check in with us every night to ensure we had plans for the next day. The hill/mountain behind the camp is great for sunset and sunrise! Look no further for your place to stay in Wadi Rum!

The experience was amazing. At the beginning we were welcomed with a cup of tea in Salems house. After that we went straight to the camp and it was one of the best experience in our life. The camp is located in a beautiful area with a lot of stunning views. The tents are clean and big enough. The “living area” is also clean and very chilly. Bathrooms are extremely clean, there is a lot of toilet paper, big showers and showering staff. The jeep tour with Salem was also amazing, well though and completely met our expectations. Breakfast and dinner were tasty and there were a lot of food to choose from. To sum up, Salem is a amazing and open person with a very good English level. It was as a pleasure to meet him. Highly recommend this place!

This is the best experience you’ll ever have!! Do not pick any other camp!! You will have so many memories from this amazing campsite. Tyseer, Yasar, and the others treated us so well. The activities were over the top amazing. They exceeded our expectations with the activities, hospitality, the delicious food, our tent, etc. Everything was so clean, too. They really give you the best bedouin experience. If you’re looking for fun, great adventures, incredible views of the desert from your tent, and yummy food, then this is your place. You won’t regret it!! And for the money, it’s so worth it. Go to Yalla Rum Camp!!

Everyone was very welcoming at the camp. It was good to meet and talk to lots of different people. The location is beautiful and we enjoyed our stay.

A very kind host. Showed me the local Bedouin culture, food, and nearby hikes. The tent was also very traditional. Overall, I enjoyed my time in wadi rum. 10/10 would recommend.

Staying with Abdel Hady has been a unique experience for sure. He was really welcoming, warm-hearted and made sure at any time that I get to enjoy the desert. Communication was super easy. He helped me out with a driver from Aqaba and picked me up at Wadi Rum Village to get to the camp. I would definitely recommend staying here (also as a solo traveler) and to book a tour with him is a must! I decided to stay another night to enjoy the peace of the place and to do another tour (including sandboarding - yeah!). He was really patient, showed me around lots of beautiful places and took good care with cookies and lots of tea (and dinner and breakfast and and and…). He for sure knows the desert, with lots of interesting stories to tell. Thank you for everything!!

Eid is a very nice person, very posed, always attentive and available. Within 10 minutes after our call he picked us up at the entrance to the camp, then offered us a welcome tea in his family home before bringing us to the Bedouin camp that he runs with his children and cousins. He was very understanding that having subscribed to a full board package, we wanted to organize our hiking program in the vicinity of the camp ourselves. The nights in the Bedouin tent, with a bathroom, were pleasant despite bothering gusts of wind the first night. The typical Bedouin evening meals taken in common under the large tent were hearty and friendly. It should be noted that the electricity in the camp only works for a few hours in the morning and evening, don't forget to charge your phone every night. The wifi works well but is sometimes dusty. In short, we totally recommend this camp.

The location is great because it is not in the very touristic area, it feels very authentic. Wafa’a was a great host and the breakfasts on the terrace were amazing with nice views on the surrounding mountains and hills. Well situated to explore Petra, recommend taking two days to make the most of it !

A few days ago, I spent a night in Awwad's camp at Wadi Rum desert. The experience was unforgettable! 🤩 My day started with a welcoming delicious lunch and followed a jeep tour around the desert in which Awwad showed me the most outstanding places in the desert. At the end of the day, we had dinner at the camp and we ended the day resting and watching the stars! The site was clean and the lunch, dinner and breakfast that I had were absolutely delicious! 😋

Really happy about the hospitality of our hosts and the Wadi Rum desert experience. An absolute must ! Despite the low season and the cold winter nights, our hosts made everything possible for our comfort and to allow us to see the beautiful desert and taste the delicious food. Thank you !

Deep in the desert, Rakan's camp was an unforgettable experience. Unbelievably a cave, it was clean, cozy, safe and not cold at night. Highly recommended if you want to create an unforgettable experience in Wadi Rum! You can see the galaxy and shooting stars in the night sky pouring in front of you like a panorama, and in the morning, you can lie down and see the beautiful shining sunrises and rocks.🌞🪨 Even though I arrived late due to a problem with my tire, Rakan waited for me, immediately introduced me to the desert with a jeep and told me about the life and culture of Baduin. (Two weeks before my visit, I also showed you a photo that I took a Korean entertainment program, but before I became more famous, please visit) The host Rakan is a really kind and nice person. My brother and I made unforgettable happy memories. What an experience in my life! Unforgettable memories especially panorama view from the bed in the night and morning.. you can see shooting stars just laying down on the bed✨ Rakan is super kind and friendly, one of the best host in my air-bnb experience. I had an amazing experience staying at a Bedouin tent camp in Wadi Rum desert with my parents, and I can't recommend it highly enough. Our hosts were incredibly welcoming and made us feel like old friends. The food was absolutely delicious and the starry night sky was breathtakingly beautiful. The jeep tour was also a highlight of the trip, taking us through the stunning landscape and offering unforgettable views. Overall, I would highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone looking for a unique and authentic desert experience. Thank you to our hosts for making our stay so memorable!

Desert Bird Camp was the perfect place to stay for my trip to Wadi Rum! The staff was extremely helpful and hospitable and made me feel like Bedouin family. We enjoyed delicious meals, and even got to see how the food is traditionally cooked underground. It was so peaceful, and quite a fun surprise to turn around and see camels sticking their heads through the windows! I highly recommend taking the full day jeep tour as well as spending a night sleeping outside under the stars (Tawfiq will give you mattress and blanket, so that you're comfortable). Will stay again on my next visit to Jordan!

Staying at Awad camp was a wondefull experience ! He s very friendly and you feel that is really happy to host you, that you are not just another tourist to bring him monney but that he s also happy to share. The camp is located in a peacefull area where you can enjoy home made traditionnal bedouin food and a night in the desert after a tour (that he can organise for you). ...just for you to know, communication with Awad might take a bit of time as there is no wifi in the desert so dont expect an answer to your message in less than one hour ! That s part of the experience, enjoy being disconnected for a while :-) Thanks for what you share with me Awad, it was very nice !
