Cottage in the Arctic Circle!

The house is in a particularly quiet village of Juokseng on the Swedish side of Tornionjoki. Suitable for families, fishermen, snowmobilers, berry pickers, skiers, hikers or people who just like nature. The yard is big for outdoor games and the beach is nearby. There are also skiing centers within a 12-20 km radius. The river is less than 1 km away. The village store is approx. 1 km. There is another cottage in the same yard that can also be rented.The sauna is shared by both cabins, if agreed.

In the main building there is a kitchen, a dining area, and a living room. Stand alone toilet equipped with washer and dryer, electric sauna, and shower, including the toilet. Two bedrooms (each with double bed), a loft with a sofa bed (120x200), and 2 additional beds if needed. In addition, a visit from the outside of the main building to the room upstairs with two beds, armchairs and a small refrigerator for two. Outdoor sauna and glazed BBQ grill in the yard as well. Pier by the beach.

Welcome to 'Lapland Lights' - our cosy cottage in the friendly village of Svanstein, 10km north of the Arctic Circle. Stunningly located on the shore of lake Kuittasjärvi, Lapland Lights is a peaceful base for fishing and outdoor adventures in summer, and for skiing, husky tours and reindeer safaris in the winter. And, of course, ideal for spotting the Northern Lights! The house is newly renovated and in the outbuilding is a traditional wood-fired sauna with gorgeous views over the river.

There is a big lake close to the cottage, pineforest and cross country skiing & hiking possibilities. The house is well equipped and modern. This is a good holiday house for families with children. There are two bedrooms, a balcony for sleeping, living room with one bed, sofas, dining table and kitchen, bathroom and sauna. You will see reindeer sometimes close to the house.

Relax along the beautiful Kemijoki River in a sympathetic 1811 log cabin. Renovated with modern amenities v.2021. New sauna/toilet and barbecue area and sauna terrace in the yard . After the sauna, drop off the beach in the fresh water of the Kemijoki River. On the beach, another sauna and a lot, can be rented separately in the summer, as well as a gazebo for grilling and a rowing boat. Idyllinen pieni saunallinen hirsimökki, yksityisellä lammen rannalla. Sijaitsee rauhallisessa kylässä napapiirillä. Mökki sijaitsee lähellä hiljaista tietä, mutta silti omassa rauhassaan. Pihassa saattaa vierailla kettu, jänis tai vaikka poro. Mökki sijaitsee tunnin ajomatkan päässä Rovaniemen lentokentältä luonnonkauniissa kylässä järvineen, kukkuloineen ja harjuineen.
