Waterfront holiday rentals in Kalamaki Beach

Wonderful, kind and knowledgeable host. It was such a pleasure meeting Mihalis. His home is beautiful, it is really spacious, has secure underground parking. You can ride the elevator from garage up to where the front door is. That was the coolest. The home has the most amazing view. Pictures are accurate but they don't do it justice. The view is unbelievable. Comfortable couch and beds, very clean, stocked with amenities, you'll want for nothing. Mihalis was even generous enough to stock us with water and very good oranges. Several Restaurant choices in both directions and great clothing shops just 200 ft up the road. It's going to be tough to beat this BnB compared to future others. We were so sad to leave. Can't recommend it highly enough. Like us, you'll have no regrets.

We had a really great time in Lygaria! The Arrival was easy and we met Nikos and his wife, they were very friendly and helpful! Nikos always replied very quick and also gave some recommendations for restaurants and taverns (we really liked Sirocco and Anatoli!) The appartment was clean, felt modern and cozy. The outside section next to it was really nice to hang out at in the evenings and the whirlpool was a big bonus, we loved it! We also had deck chairs for our use at the front of the building - from which you are able to get to the beach in just a few footsteps! All in all we were really happy to have booked this airbnb and would recommend it to everyone!

Wir hatten eine wundervolle Woche in dieser Unterkunft direkt am Meer! Die Wohnung ist sehr schön eingerichtet und der Blick vom Balkon aufs Meer ist ein Traum. Die Küche hatte eine Basic Ausstattung. Es gibt sogar einen Zimmerservice, der alle paar Tage die Handtücher austauscht, Müll entsorgt und sauber macht. Der Strandabschnitt ist recht ruhig und an den meisten Tagen waren wir fast allein dort. Man kann dort auch gut schnorcheln, wenn man mag. In der Nähe befinden sich zwei Tavernen, die uns beide sehr gefallen haben. Wir hatten einen Mietwagen und würden dies auch empfehlen. Der einzige Manko ist die Straße. Man hört sie aber nicht sehr stark unten am Meer und mit geschlossenem Fenster konnte man gut schlafen. Wir haben es beide nicht als wirklich störend wahrgenommen. Das schöne Grundstück und die Lage machen es definitiv wett. Wir würden immer wieder kommen!

From Sunrise to Sunset the North facing second floor apartment and balcony offered incredible panoramic views of the Mediterranean, Rethymnon Marina and Fortezza … absolutely no issues or problems with check in, in/out access with secure gated and covered garage parking … comfortable bed, quite building, hot water shower/sinks, flawless high speed internet, excellent cable TV, soft linens, sheets and pillows 5⭐️!

Abbiamo avuto il piacere di soggiornare nell’appartamento di Rena dal 26/5 al 2/6/‘25 ed è stata un’esperienza fantastica! L’appartamento era come da descrizione ma la vista dal terrazzo ha superato anche le aspettative! Purtroppo non abbiamo potuto conoscere Rena personalmente ma è sempre stata presente ad ogni nostra richiesta, ci aveva avvisati in anticipo che il Market del paese sarebbe stato ancora chiuso così abbiamo potuto premunirci di spesa prima di arrivare ma lei comunque ci ha fatto trovare in casa di tutto (grazie ancora!). In casa è presente ogni tipo di accessorio utile per la cucina ma anche delle accortezze che non avevo mai trovato in altre occasioni! La strada per raggiungere questo piccolo Paesino è parecchio tortuosa ma noi stavamo così bene lì che ci siamo spostati solo una volta. Ci sono 2/3 spiagge (dove spesso eravamo da soli) raggiungibile con una bella passeggiata in mezzo al nulla respirando il profumo dell’origano! Speriamo di poterci ritornare!

A great location. The unit is spotless, modern and spacious. The building was exceptionally clean, and the room had wrap around views of the sea. It would really recommend this place, we chose those as opposed to units further up the beach, because of its views across the sea. It did not disappoint.

Absolutely stunning apartment. Amazing location, super clean, comfy bed, high quality linens and towels, last but not least the host was amazing. I would highly recommend this apartment to everyone!

We absolutely loved our time here! The listing description was spot on. No surprises as everything was exactly as described. The best part was 100% the beach! Its literally right in front of the apartment! Falling asleep to the sound of ocean waves every night was so nice. Agia Pelagia itself is ideal for a relaxed vacation. The beach is peaceful, very clean, and has a great mix of sandy spots for lounging. There’s also a solid variety of restaurants nearby, plus plenty of supermarkets and souvenir shops just a short walk away. Everything you need is within walking distance. I came here with my best friend and we had the most amazing time. We’re already talking about when we can come back. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful seaside getaway!

Apartamentul ne-a fost dat in folosinta inca de la 8 dimineata. Am gasit usor locatia, am intrat in apartament si ne-a intampinat un view exceptional, vedeai marea din orice colt al livingului… Gazda ne-a lasat la dispozitie apa, suc, mancare, cafea, lucruri de care ne-am bucurat din plin mai ales la cat eram de obositi dupa drum. Chiar peste drum exista un supermarket, iar cea mai apropiata plaja era la cativa pasi. Singurul minus a fost cabina de dus, care era mica, in rest nu poti gasi minusuri acestei cazari. Multumim!!

כל כך נהננו בשהות שלנו בווילה ! הבריכה המחוממת לנוף מהמם ואזור כפרי מלא בטבע וירוק . הקבלת פנים הייתה נעימה ומסבירת פנים. כל שאלה שהייתה לנו המארחים ענו לנו מהר . היה מושלם ! חלום של מקום!

Der Check-In hat super geklappt, obwohl unser Flug Verspätung hatte und wir erst um 00:30 Uhr im Dorf ankamen. Maria hat auf uns gewartet und uns willkommen geheißen, vielen Dank! Der Ort selbst ist sehr ruhig. Es gibt einen Supermarkt, der aber wegen Saisonende leider schon dauerhaft geschlossen hatte. Die umliegenden Strände sind sehr idyllisch und teilweise waren wir sogar die einzigen dort. Zu den typischen Kreta-Sehenswürdigkeiten ist es sehr weit zu fahren, dafür hat man hier gute Entspannung ohne viel Trubel. Genauso, wie wir es wollten.

We hebben zeer genoten van dit verblijf in Rethimnon! Heerlijke bedden, warm water, een ruim balkon.. en een grote ruimte met sportapparatuur, een TV met streamingsdiensten om 's avonds even bij te komen. Zeer luxe! Georgios en zijn vrouw zijn zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam, de beste hosts die je je maar kunt wensen. De locatie is rustig en net iets buiten het centrum. Voorzieningen zoals een supermarkt, strand en boulevard zijn op loopafstand vanaf het appartement. Enige nadeel waren de wegwerkzaamheden rondom, wat wel invloed had op het uitzicht. Al met al een fantastisch verblijf en kan deze dan ook honderd procent aanbevelen!

Magnifique ! Foncez ! Le logement: Wahou ! Propre, cosy, confort. Une magnifique terrasse avec un jacuzzi privé dont nous avons beaucoup profité et une vue sur le petit port à couper le souffle. Une cuisine avec tout ce qu'il faut (frigidaire, vaisselle, couverts, etc ...). 2 belles salles de bains avec tout ce qu'il faut (serviettes, produits, etc ...). Chambres confortables. Un salon avec Netflix, pour ceux qui le soir ont envie de se poser un peu. L'accueil: Wahou ! Harry nous attendait avec le sourire, malgré notre retard (avion, location de voiture, les aléas des voyages🤣). Sur place un tas de choses pour bien commencer nos vacances : fruits, charcuterie, pain, eaux, coca et de quoi déjeuner (confitures, miel ,café ..) Le gros+: Merci à Harry pour ses bons conseils (lieux à visiter, restaurants, tavernes, plages ...) et sa constante disponibilité et rapidité à répondre pendant notre séjour. L'endroit: Très joli port, un peu bruyant et animé le soir. Bon départ pour sillonner.

Wir haben uns in diesem Haus acht Tage lang sehr wohl gefühlt, auf der gut verschatteten Terrasse eine erholsame Zeit bis tief in die Nacht hinein verbracht. Ioanna hat uns mit verschiedenen Köstlichkeiten überrascht, liebevoll und immer erreichbar. Gerne kommen wir wieder, um diese schöne Aussicht zu genießen.

Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit in der Unterkunft. Die Wohnung war sehr gut ausgestattet, in der Küche war alles was man zum kochen benötigt, es gab sogar Kinderspielsachen und Equipment für den Strand. Alles war total sauber und der Kontakt zu Efi war sehr freundlich. Den Garten haben wir sehr gerne genutzt und auch den Grill dort. Vielen Dank, für die schöne Zeit, die wir dort verbringen konnten.

The apartment it's perfectly located above Lentas beach, few steps above the sea, perfect for a swim or relax on the terrace. Several walkable tavernas and bars are in the range of a short walk. Nikos was very helpful and welcoming, prepared several goods in the house once we arrived, lovely olive oil, fruits , bread, jam, snacks, butter, cold water, beers, wine and raki. We had an issue with water, but the host was on the task within minutes, we later discovered it was a village issue . In the house there are also lots of beach towles, umbrella and yoga mats, table games, tourist guides. Perhaps the only downside could be very near the proximity with the guests on the others apartments, you could be lucky( and fortunately we were) or you could have a loud, smoking neighbours....

Wir waren vom 6.10.-12.10. bei Nikos in der Unterkunft. Der Meerblick war toll. Abends haben wir das Meer rauschen gehört. 2 Minuten zum Strand. Das Wasser war klar und angenehme 25°. Am Strand waren nicht viele Leute, eine angenehme Atmosphäre. Die Insel bietet viele Sehenswürdigkeiten, die Altstadt von Rethymno ist allein eine Reise wert. Die Preise sind ok. Die Griechen sind nett und gastfreundlich. Nikos war zur Stelle, wenn wir ein Anliegen hatten. Sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Diese Unterkunft können wir empfehlen👍. Wir waren als Familie mit 2 kleinen Kindern für 1 Woche in der Unterkunft. Wir konnten 2 Babybetten und einen Hochstuhl haben, was eine grosse Erleichterung war. Alles war wie beschrieben und sehr sauber. Meer und Strand und Restaurants etc. sind direkt um die Ecke. Von der Terrasse hat man einen schönen Blick auf die Berge hinter denen die Sonne untergeht und um die Ecke sieht man aufs Meer. Grosser Parkplatz vor der Tür. Nach 3 Tagen wurde die Wohnung geputzt, Abfall entsorgt, Bettwäsche und Handtücher gewechselt, wunderbar! Es gibt eine lange Treppe um in die Wohnung zu kommen, ohne Lift, für uns war es aber kein Problem.

Fantastinen paikka! Kaunis asunto upealla sijainnilla. Viiden hengen perhe majoittui täällä mukavasti, hyvät sängyt. Upea olohuone ja huikea parveke/terassi esteettömällä merinäkymällä 😍 Oli kiva käydä aamu-uinnilla, kun ranta oli kadun toisella puolella! Noin 15 minuutin kävely vanhaan kaupunkiin, paikkaan mihin ihastuimme täysin! Autopaikka kätevästi pihassa ja ruokakauppa ihan vieressä. Stratoksen kanssa kaikki sujui hyvin, erittäin mukava ja reagoi nopeasti kysymyksiin ja tarpeisiin. Olimme todella tyytyväisiä että valitsimme juuri tämän asunnon upeasta Rethymnosta!

I‘m more that happy that we decided to stay at Dimitri‘s place. He ish very kind and helped us right away, if we had any questions. The location is peaceful and has a great view. The beach is not far away and the size of the apartment is just perfekt for a single person or a couple. I will definitely visit again.

Die Wohnung liegt perfekt, um die Insel zu erkunden, man ist im Zentrum der Insel, sofort auf der Autobahn (Empfehlung: vor Einzug unbedingt rückwärts am Berg anfahren üben!!) und trotzdem ist die Wohnung sehr ruhig und hat einen tollen Blick aufs Meer. Vor allem der kleine Balkon direkt über dem Meer hat es uns angetan, auch wenn er im Sommer vielleicht etwas zu heiß/zu wenig schattig sein könnte. Hier schließt man auch schnell Freundschaft mit den 4 Katzen, die gelegentlich auch den Nachbarshund zur Weißglut treiben. Wer Angst vor Katzen hat, sollte sich bei diesen anhänglichen Exemplaren lieber eine andere Wohnung suchen, Katzenfreunde werden es lieben. Mariannas Mutter ist eine gute Seele, bringt Eier der hauseigenen Hühner sowie frisches Obst und Gemüse vorbei. Alles in allem für uns der perfekte Ort, um die Erkundung der Insel mit Erholung zu kombinieren.

Beautiful appartment with stunning views. some traffic noise but no more than the area as a whole. I did have some issues getting in but only as front door to the appartment block was open and I missed the key box outside. however , I have a quick response when I messaged. the appartment is very secure.

Vlakbij het strand. Parkeerplaats beschikbaar. Appartement heeft alles wat je maar nodig kan hebben. Behulpzame verhuurder. Alles op wandelafstand, auto is enkel nodig voor daguitstappen. Leuk speelgoed voor de kinderen. Enige minpunt is dat het naast een drukke baan ligt met nodige lawaai.
