The farm is now fully off Eskom power so load shedding is a distant memory.

Forest Falls Treehouse

Enjoy the serenity of nature on the edge of the Umgeni Valley. Conveniently placed less than 10 minutes away from Hilton Village. This is no normal cottage. Our Forest Falls Treehouse is built at the confluence of two streams. Perched amongst trees, birds are constant visitors while shy nyala often make an appearance. This self-catering cottage can be reached after a short walk in an indigenous forest down steep stairs built into a cliff face. Meals can be purchased through prior arrangements.

Large family or group stays. Bridford Farm is a wonderful family home set in the Kwazulu-Natal Midlands just over the hill from Michaelhouse school. There are loads of rooms, lovely wintery fires and gorgeous gardens with spectacular views of the Balgowan valley. The dam is home to grass carp for catch and release, and the forest walking trail is suitable for the whole family. There is also a tennis court.
