Holiday rentals with lake access in Karlovac County

Renato’s place was just what we wanted for a quick visit to Plitvice Lakes. It was good value for a place to sleep and refresh after a long trip to get there; close to the park; and Renato gave a good restaurant recommendation for our late arrival. He was really easy to communicate with, and the place was very clean.

What an excellent location to explore the Plitvice Lakes Park! It is less than 10 min from Entrance 1. We really enjoyed playing in the river just down the road too. We will stay here again for sure!

Wow. Cosy and charming. A warm fire in the fireplace in a peaceful, beautiful countryside cabin. It doesn’t get more relaxing than this. Clean, comfortable and welcoming. Natalja is an extremely attentive and responsive host.

The place was perfect for anyone who loves nature and animals! The donkey was quite friendly, and the neighbourhood dogs provided perfect walking buddies! We had a great time, and the place was kept very clean and maintained.

Bojan is very welcoming, available and very helpful! The house apartment in the forest is super quiet and relaxing. We did the route H of Pltivice Park and the next day we did the itinerary offered by Bojan which gives access to splendid views from the top of the lakes and waterfalls. Bojan's recommendations are a must!

We really enjoyed staying here. What a wonderful place. The view, the refreshing swimmingpool, the garden... Mladen was very helpful. We came by bus and he came to fetch us, he also drove us to the entrance of Plitvice lakes and gave us good tips. There is a grocery shop and restaurants at walking distance. We warmly recommend this place.

Dorde’s place was amazing. Great location so close the park (walking distance), clean, modern (yet in a rustic setting), and easy to access. Could not recommend more!

Passing through to visit the Plitvice Lakes, we enjoyed our stay at Camp Bear. The space was in a good location and fully satisfied us!

This place was by far the best apartment I’ve stayed in. It was clean, spacious, and very well furnished. The family hosting was very helpful and went above and beyond stocking the place.

Jelena is a fantastic, responsive and very friendly host. Her place is fantastic in location, cleanliness and amenities. The house is literally the last on the road in the valley and therefore very secluded. Our family (two kids) enjoyed especially the outside area with the roofed patio with Croatian oven/bbq, outside kitchen, hot pot and playground. Heating and outside amenities are powered by natural wood with plentiful supply. This is also needed, because you get power cuts occasionally due to the remote location and old power network (not Jelena’s fault). The environment is green and peaceful, with a nice little creek running by the house. You can start walking or hiking directly from the house. The neighborhood is local and small but very friendly. It’s easy to get in contact and you can get local homegrown or homemade food from them. All in all it’s definitely a recommendation. All of us had a fantastic time and I personally had one of the most relaxing holidays for a long time!

We had a wonderful time and we would definitely recommend. The surroundings are beautiful, peaceful and the place was comfortable and clean. The canoe was a nice bonus and we truly enjoyed our adventure with it upstream. The elderly woman who lives upstairs was very sweet and friendly.

My friends and I loved our vacation at this little cottage in Croatia. The place was even more beautiful and comfy than on the website, and we had a great time even though it was raining a lot. The lake was nice and very natural with almost no people in or around it! Everything in the house was functional, clean and in good condition! The only disappointing thing was, that there was no WiFi available, even though it is advertised on the website! Other than that, everything was perfect, the host was super nice and cooperative!
