The Palm House at Hjelmsjöborg

Nestled in a rhododendron in the northern part of Hjelmsjöborg Park is this octagonal tower Palm House. This is a very unique building where you get a home like nothing else. Five meters in ceiling height, beautiful stuccos, brick paintings, a bathtub in the middle of the bedroom, spiral staircase, a paved patio with a Mediterranean feel and not even a stone's throw from the house is Hjelmsjöns nice tennis courts. In the winter months, it can get a little cold, then you have to crawl up on the sofa and light a fire in the fireplace.

Relax in this unique and quiet home that straddles the entire Askim fjord all the way to the Tistlen. Here you can sit and study nature, the archipelago, hear the screezes of the seagull for the morning coffee and go down and take a morning swim the first thing you do. Children can move freely in the area as there are no direct traffic, instead there are nice natural areas around the knot. Welcome to this cosy red cottage with its own garden with berry bushes and fruit trees located only 600m from a lovely swimming beach. Train and bus are close by so it is easy to get here and discover the surroundings. For those who like to bike, Kattegattleden is around the corner, and there is plenty of room for parking if you come by car. A nice place for a quiet and comfortable stay! On the plot there is another house but you have separate gardens.
