At the foot of Mt. Komagatake, close to Onuma Quasi-National Park. A villa nestled in a quiet forest. It is located 40 minutes by car from Hakodate Airport, about 30 minutes from JR Hakodate Hokuto Station on the Shinkansen, 10-25 minutes by car to each golf course near Onuma, and 25 minutes by car to the ski resort. The Tachikawa family vacation villa is now available for rent. You can stay in Hakodate's nationally designated important cultural property, the Tachigawa family's Komagatake villa, as comfortably as if it were your own villa. Relax in a quiet environment where time seems to stand still. There are 2 twin bedrooms on the first floor, with a total of 4 beds. The loft can also be used as a bedroom, accommodating up to 8 guests. You can enjoy bird watching and the horses that come to play from the ranch next to the villa. Near the villa, there is an environment where you can enjoy activities through golf in summer and skiing in winter. You can also enjoy fresh and delicious seafood at the fishing port in Morimachi. We are your hosts, Jimmy & Eri. After living in Sydney for over 30 years, we moved to Ōnuma and now enjoy a quiet life with our Bernese Mountain Dog, Hanako. She lives indoors, so our home is best for guests who like large dogs. Guests may bring their own dogs, and the front yard can be used as a dog run. Dogs that may have accidents indoors are kindly asked to wear diapers. Our place is a great base for exploring southern Hokkaido. Renting a car is recommended, but station pick-up is available.
