Waterfront holiday rentals in Kedah

We stayed here for a month and had a great time. The beach view was great and we had live music from the beach bars and fireworks each night (for more than 4 weeks). Maybe that had to do with Chinese New Year, but it actually went on after CNY as well. Communication was excellent, there was a helpful representative who was almost always nearby and ready to assist with some very small issues we had. The security guys were very friendly to our kids and would accept packages that were delivered for us when we were out. The only significant point of improvement I see is that a bit more attention should be paid to the cleaning.

I'd give more than five stars if AirBnB would let me. We felt really at home, and would unequivocally recommend the place. Siew Lin is an amazing host, flexible, helpful. The place is great. It's bigger than it looks in the pictures; there are two fully-fitted bathrooms, each with a shower; a great kitchen that is fully equipped; washing machine and a drying rack on the beautiful balcony; everything to feel like home... The location is also perfect. In the building complex there's a fully-stocked supermarket (downstairs and across a covered walkway, 3 minutes door-to-door), great restaurants, a beautiful pool that is always empty, a gym, great surroundings... We also like the geography in the city, nestled (somehow extremely quietly) between Georgetown and Tanjung Bungah!

Our family had a fantastic stay at this place. The property was clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully equipped with everything a family needs for a comfortable vacation. The unit had ample space for our big family, with cozy bedrooms, a fully functional kitchen, and a comfortable living area perfect for family bonding. The location was ideal—peaceful and scenic, yet close to the beach, and convenience stores. Overall, this homestay provided the perfect mix of relaxation and convenience. It was an ideal choice for a family-friendly retreat, and we would happily return in the future. Highly recommended for anyone looking to explore Penang with the comfort of a home away from home.

All good. Building itself and the surrounding plaza are dated (1970s brutalist vibes) but the apartment was huge and modern and quite comfortable. Beds comfortable, wifi very good. Great views. Hosts were quite helpful and let me check in early after my flight arrived.

Airlevate suite has a beautiful waterfront view of the harbour and across the road to a park area. There are nearby walkable hawker centres and not too far by Grab to Georgetown and other areas of Penang. The apartment was spacious, nice natural light. The host provided clear check in instructions and there were no issues.

The house was spotlessly clean and had a fresh, pleasant scent the moment we walked in. All the facilities and amenities were top-notch, exactly as described. A hidden gem worth your time, a special island off Langkawi. It is a perfect place to wind down. The house is soooo beautiful and if you would love to cook, there’s a lil shop down the road you can buy groceries from. Mohd was super helpful in helping us organise everything. I recommend to do a little research on boat/flight time so it’s a seamless journey. Stay at least 3days. I can’t rave enough about this place.

The villa was perfect! Very well located, close to the main attractions of Langkawi, while offering a quiet and relaxing setting. The equipment was complete and quality, making the stay even more enjoyable. A great choice to take full advantage of the island!

This apartment was well worth the price. The apartment was spacious with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, living room, dining room, kitchen, and laundry room. The clothes dryer was a perk. The appliances were modern and well maintained. The A/C and fans kept us cool. The WiFi worked perfectly to keep us connected. The showers were hot and we slept peacefully in our cozy beds. We had a beautiful mountain view from our patio. Our building had direct access to the pool, but the apartment faced away from the pool which helped mute the noise. The beach was beautiful with lots of activities, music and restaurants. We were strategically close to other attractions in Batu Ferringhi and were able to make the 45 minute trip into Georgetown with ease. We often walked around the neighborhood to eat at various restaurants along the street or at neighboring resorts. We liked having options to buy items at the convenience store, local shops, or with Grab. Ady was very responsive and helpful!

Our stay at Cecilia's condo was for 2 months, so it quickly became our little home away from home. Everything met our expectations as per the description of the condo. The bed and livingroom furniture are comfy and the kitchen is well stocked with supplies and cookware. We used the stove daily for light cooking and there are two fridges which helps if you stock up on groceries. We loved the nature surrounding this condo and the regular visits by the monkeys. They instantly became the highlight of our stay, for sure. The sea view is also beautiful. There were plenty of cargo and cruise ships to watch, as well as the fishing boats that arrive early every morning. We chose not to rent a car. This location is very doable without one. We used Grab to get to and from Georgetown for shopping and touristy things. Overall, Cecilia's home is a wonderful stay for anyone looking for a natural setting, quiet, and of course monkeys! Thank you Cecilia for being such a gracious host!

Had an amazing stay! The hosts were incredibly responsive and always available whenever we needed anything. The only downside was the long wait time for the lift, but that was a minor inconvenience compared to everything else. Would definitely recommend this place! 😊

Comfortable and clean

Absolute diamond of a host, paid attention to detail and also helped with added extras. Roses were waiting on arrival and also helped set up trips and tours. 10/10 amazing host amazing property.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The apartment was spacious, clean and tidy and had everything we needed and it was so great to have the water filter. Lots of recommendations from Ng for places to visit and eat. The infinity pool had the most amazing view. Thanks highly recommended!
