The Bassari Cabin

Welcome to Ibel, my village, in the heart of Pays Bassari. You will stay in a small traditional hut, surrounded by nature, roosters and children playing. The common areas are also those of my family: we eat together, we chat, and if you feel like it, you can participate in the life of the village. Besides being your host, I'm also a local guide. I know the region well and can take you to see villages lost among mountains, ancient baobabs and roads that do not appear on the maps.

A simple room features an unmade bed with a patterned coverlet, accompanied by a small wooden stool. A wooden dresser stands against the wall. Natural light enters through a window with blue bars, and a door opens to an outdoor area, providing a view of greenery.

River Eco-Camp

The Eco-Campement du fleuve is the best accommodation in the Kedougou area. A magical place with a splendid view of the Gambia River in which it is very pleasant to swim. We are lucky to observe many kinds of birds.

The exterior of the house showcases a unique patterned wall with vibrant red accents around the windows and door. A spacious porch area is visible, framed by well-maintained greenery. The entrance features an ornate red door, inviting guests into the home.
