Thanks Katja, we had an amazing two days in Ranua. The house is very functional, accessible. Getting up in the morning and having lunch in front of the window with the impression of being in the heart of the forest, what a pleasure! The location is superb. Thank you again for the campfire, for taking the time to try to communicate with our children, and for the attention you gave them. I highly recommend it!

Peaceful and great location. The cottage was well-equipped, found everything you need!

Sanna was a super nice host, and reacted very fast when we needed something. The Appartement had everything we needed. We spend a lot of time in the whirlpool, we were even so lucky to see aurora from the jacuzzi one night.

Pasi is a very responsive and friendly host. The house is typical and at the same time very pleasant with all the necessary comforts, the bedding is of good quality and there is everything you need in the house and nearby. We recommend and thank Pasi for our stay.

the accommodation was perfect, there were seven of us including two small girls and we had no problems of any kind. The house was very well-kept and clean, the spaces were large and comfortable, the location was perfect. Having rented a van we always moved around easily, we could reach the city in 5 minutes, the view was wonderful and the large windows allowed you to admire it even from inside the house. The large garden allowed the girls to have fun in the snow whenever they wanted, a few steps away there is also a playground. The house is a 10 minute drive from three perfect areas to go and see the aurora, the most convenient is perhaps Olkkajärvi Rest Stop, however if the sky is clear you can also admire it from the garden of the house. We couldn't have hoped for better!

We had a lovely stay at this lovely cottage, and particularly appreciated Sara's responsiveness, the large shower area - sauna, the magical surroundings to walk in Finnish nature ❄️ Although we came without children, we found the plush giraffe adorable 💕 Very happy with this choice of accommodation 😊

We had a magical stay at Villa Hanhi, so much so we did not want to leave. Everything was perfect, the interior was warm and cosy. My eight year old daughter loved the sleds provided and the walking trails. The location is great and feels remote yet less than 10 minute drive has you in the middle of everything. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We were 2 families with 2 children each there. The space was enough, everything was very clean, you felt right at home. The city was a 45-minute walk away, but buses also run regularly and the bus stop is only a few minutes away. The only small minus point, the pots were too small for 8 people. Otherwise, everything was generous.

The cabin was actually much better than we originally anticipated. It was lovely, surely retro and rustic but very charming and much bigger than the photos suggested. Many features had been clearly updated vs the photos. I would definitely stay here again. View to Pyhätunturi from the backyard deck was spectacular, and if you do cross country skiing there’s easy access to the tracks. You need however a car to access the skiing slopes (very short ride).

We had the greatest stay at Kosti’s ! He’s the best host we could ask for. He’s always available when you need anything, and makes sure for your stay to be as welcoming as possible. The sauna and pool are really nice to enjoy, and the location is perfect. The (then frozen) river next to the house offered us the possibility to watch wonderful auroras, and the proximity the Ounasvaraa ski station allowed us to enjoy it as much as possible. I could only recommend you to stay at Kosti’s place if you want your stay to be the best, and feel as a local.

The apartment is just as beautiful as the photos. The sauna was great to warm up in the evening after the cold icy day. The fireplace made some effort on the first evening. Unfortunately, we did not receive a response the next day, with reading through the instructions on AirBnb we did it. The bed linen costs extra. Per person 18 Euro. We are used to fitted sheets but here there were only 2 single towels for the large bed. To turn the heater up a little, you should write to the host. When we did, we didn't get a response. It was warm enough with the fireplace. However, the bedroom has always stayed a little fresh at night. Nevertheless, it is a wonderfully beautiful place to stay and we would definitely come back here.

I love this place! Irma was so kind to me. Also, as someone who captures a lot of adventures with my phone and camera, I’m really grateful for the super-fast internet, it allowed me to upload my pictures to the cloud every day. The home is beautiful, and I’ll definitely choose it again

Enjoyed our stay with our 2 young children who absolutely loved the apartment, especially the climbing wall and rings in their room. A lovely relaxing place to come back to after a busy day in the Santa Park and Santa Claus Village. The scenery and surrounding lake was stunning, especially in the snow. Anna was great host always on hand to answer any questions on the run up to our stay and during. Anna gave lots of practical advice and really helped us arrange our time and travel arrangements well. I really couldn’t recommend her enough. Thank you Anna!

Nice little cottage where the square meters are used really well. We slept comfortably four under the same roof but there would have been room for at least two more :)

It was super cozy, great fireplace, everything important there, sauna etc. worked well, northern lights we could see right behind the forest, very quiet, great area, Luosto and Pyhä national park quickly reachable, megatoller snow, host always responded very sleekly. very nice house, warm. Beautiful and peaceful surroundings. You can take a sauna and then go down the stairs and swim in the river. We saw the northern lights on the first and last day of our vacation from the cottage. The village of Santa Claus is only 30 minutes from the shawl as well as the town of Rovaniemi. Highly responsive host.

The accommodation is a dream and the view from the bed was special. The communication was good, it was a very clean and modern accommodation. The check-in and communication went smoothly. The accommodation is also perfectly located for excursions in Salla. We would book the accommodation again anytime! Unfortunately we have to deduct one point at check-in. When we arrived at the accommodation in the evening, all the heating was off. The flat felt as cold as outside. We first had to deal with the heaters and see how they turned on. It would have been nice to have some basic warmth in the flat and not end up in a freezing cold flat. Therefore, the arrival was unfortunately not relaxed and it took some time for the flat to heat up. This could definitely be improved for future guests. Nevertheless, we had a great stay and can recommend this accommodation.

This is such an unique place. The landscape, the jacuzzi, the sauna with a view, reindeers around the cottage and Northern lights right in front of the door. Everything was just perfect.

It was a beautiful stay for our Finland trip. Definitely big plus points for the nice open kitchen and fireplace, everything was there to cook in the evening and enjoy a nice movie. The sauna space is also very comfortable. Another nice feature was the carport and small shed with tools for bikes and ski stuff, all you need for a little adventure in the North. We would highly recommend this place :) The only minor critique is that you are quite close to other houses and lack some privacy.

The listing was just as described. Iita was very responsive and a friendly host. I recommend this place to others looking for a place to stay. The location was excellent. Sled trails nearby and comfortably peaceful and beautiful surroundings. It's also not too far to get to the slopes by car. :) Very clean and functional accommodation.

A very clean house, super nice, warm, in private and quiet places, the slopes next door, the Cal 5 min walk, the Aureola clearly visible, sauna inside with accessible access outside. I highly recommend it, and we'll be happy to come back next time!

We enjoyed our stay. The location is beautiful, so peaceful and you can do cross country skiing just outside. We enjoyed the open fireplace and sauna.
