Holiday rentals with lake access in Kennebec County

We had a great stay at the lake house. The surrounding are beautiful and very peaceful. Aside from the occasional car going down the street across the lake it is very quiet. We took full advantage of the kayaks and were out on the lake every day and walking the bank looking for crawfish at night. We had an amazing time and look forward to coming back again!

My wife and I spent our first year anniversary in this wonderful home. We had a great time enjoying the fall colors and over looking the beautiful pond, especially in the morning as the fog broke. Within 15 minutes there were several grocery shopping options, restaurants, and breweries. Perfect balance of being in a quiet setting but having amenities nearby. Would recommend and hope to go back next autumn!

The location is gorgeous and peaceful, so close to the water so that we could enjoy it right out the window, or down at the dock. The weather was too rainy for paddling but we heard the loons. The space is comfortable and Mark had so many nice touches that made us feel welcome. We hope to be back!

The house was great and matched what the description was. Very spacious and everything needed. Matthew was also very responsive when I had questions. Would stay there again for sure!

A five star setting in a true Maine oasis. If you're looking for a great , clean and comfortable house with a pondfront setting in a small Maine town, look no further. Every amenity you would hope for is there. Furniture is nice and lots of homey personal touches. Great bed which isn't always the case in even better AirBnBs. Hosts were good communicators and responses to questions came quickly. No complaint on anything. Dog friendly is a bonus!

What a place. So many great things to do. We swam and fished in the lake, the kayaks and canoes were so much fun and at night we sat by the fire pit and played table hockey.The house had everything we needed. The host was very responsive and answered all questions quickly.

Such a beautiful warm welcoming place, Jennifer was a great host and her home was amazing. A peaceful atmosphere with a beautiful view. I would definitely recommend this place to a group of friends or family looking to just get away. For sure looking forward to coming back one day.

This home did not disappoint. You couldn’t be any closer to the lake which was just dreamy. House was clean, comfortable and well equipped. Thorough information was provided prior to check in which was so helpful. Blessed to see and listen to the loons every single day!

This place was very clean and a great stay. I was under the impression in the photos that this is a lakefront property, which it is not.

I stayed there for two weeks and I would stay again. It was very quiet which is my number one need. Two it was clean. Three nice kitchen with all the appliances you need. Four Jeanmarie answered all questions quickly and clearly. Five lots of room in the house. Six it was nice and warm in the winter weather.

Perfect stay, even during the winter!

Nothing fancy but better than advertised view of the lake. Only noise we encountered were loons so if you want peace and quiet, this place works. Basically you turn into the Augusta Country Club parking lot which is the road to the colony of homes Mark's place is in. A little tough to see the road sign at night. Will rent again and would love to play ACC, looks like a great course.

This is a beautiful home. The hosts took the time to send clear instructions for getting to the house as well as where to park. They included pictures which was very helpful. The house was beautiful. We loved the restaurant recommendations. We would stay again if we go back to Maine.

We stayed at the cottage for about a week in late September and it was a perfect spot to get away from it all. The house is on a serene pond with trees reflected on the water, classic Maine. The cottage was clean and well kept with most everything you’d need. It’s in a very quiet neighborhood, so not a party spot, which worked out fine for our quiet family. We’d consider coming back to visit family. Thank you for the comfortable stay!

Despite the cold Maine weather, the warmth of the space and the thoughtful touches throughout our stay made us feel comfortable and at ease. So good I almost don’t want to leave a review because it feels like giving away a secret! We explored the nearby nature trail, went canoeing everyday, and our 3 year old loved playing at the little beach right off the property doorstep. Eric was responsive, proactive, and went out of his way to make sure our stay was memorable for us and our little one. Highly recommend!

Very peaceful, quiet and tranquil location on the pond. House was very clean, fully stocked kitchen, great amenities and a very comfortable bed. Even left us a case of water and a Smores kit. Any questions I had were answered within minutes

We absolutely love staying here! We come back year after year and love the cozy Maine cottage feel to this place. The perfect relaxing vacation and will definitely return for more!!

We loved it, we have stayed here in the past. We love the new kitchen island, plus the basket of snacks was very nice.

Very peaceful location, cozy feeling home with a great view of the lake and easy access, plenty of of space for dogs to roam around, Makenzie was very responsive and even brought us an AC day of check-in in a very timely manner! We will be back again for sure!

What a beautiful location! David is a great host. He made sure we had good directions, tips for the area, and was quick to answer any questions. The lakeside cabin has absolutely everything you need to have a peaceful, relaxing vacation. The view of the lake is spectacular. The cabin is very clean, has a well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds and Echo lake is a gorgeous pristine lake. Every morning, we enjoyed our coffee on the dock. We swam, kayaked, canoed and even tried out the paddle boards that came with the house. We would love to come back! Thanks!
