I absolutely enjoyed my weekend here. The home is beautiful. Everything you could possibly need was provided In the home. Everything was clean, and neat. House is filled with light. The pool and hot tub were enjoyable. The host were amazing and had great communication, assisted us when needed right away. I would highly recommend staying here, and they are pet friendly which is always a plus for me. The yard is fenced in. Which made it easy to let the dog out, and great for the dog to explore. A++++ Will probably be back sometime In the future.

This beautiful property has a special place in our hearts. We stayed in the A frame during COVID and we always wanted to come back. This time we stayed in the main house and it was phenomenal. Wish the weather was better for us to use the pool, but next time! It well worth the price. Only an hr from the city and it feels like a full vacation. Wonderful way to lose time time for a few days. We will be back!

We had an amazing time at Marybeth’s suite—it truly felt like a winter wonderland. Our kids had a blast "swimming" in the snow and "rolling" over the gentle hills. Every moment was filled with joy, whether we were relaxing in the sunroom, playing in the snow, or swinging outside. The time spent together as a family, along with our conversations with Marybeth and her family, was truly precious. We can’t wait to return in the summer!

I spent my birthday at this beautiful house and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The place was spotless and full of natural light, with lovely views that made the stay even more special. The atmosphere was peaceful and clean, and the house had everything we needed for cooking and relaxing. I truly felt at home and appreciated all the thoughtful touches. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a cozy, well-equipped getaway!

We truly enjoyed our stay at Wilderkill Barn. Maria Cristina and William were exceptional hosts—warm, attentive, and genuinely committed to making our visit special. They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The home was a haven, with a hot tub, sauna, pool, fire pit, pool table, and immersive sound and movie systems—all of which made our stay delightful despite the cold, dreary May weather. We can't thank them enough. ***That said, we feel it's necessary to address a serious issue with Airbnb itself that arose while booking this property, unrelated to the property itself. An unexpected tax was added after booking, and Airbnb has yet to provide a clear explanation. After years of loyalty, we were disappointed by their evasive and unhelpful customer support. This experience has made us reconsider using the platform in the future. We urge potential users to scrutinize all fees carefully and be aware that Airbnb’s support may be difficult to navigate if problems arise.***

We really enjoyed our time at Elizabeth Jane's place. The home is spacious and quaint, with nice furnishings, a tasteful colonial feel and easy access to downtown Litchfield and the Berkshires. The bucolic setting is lovely - scenic, relaxing and peaceful.

We had a great stay at Tiffany’s place! Everything was exactly as described and she was great at communicating throughout the stay.

If you're looking for a cute little cottage in the woods near the lake to recharge and relax - this is it! KC provided an extensive list of instructions and to know's, which made check in/check out and all the in-between fool proof. KC was super friendly and responsive as well!

We had a wonderful stay. It is a fantastic location, looking out over the river, private, and yet easy access to town—definitely walkable. Check in was flexible and the host communicated well, while leaving us in privacy. The pictures are accurate. There is a charming mix of vintage and modern. Will definitely look to stay at this property again.

Millstone Manor is our go-to when in this area which is twice a year due to having lived in the town and having family two minutes down the road. Richard is an awesome host, friendly and helpful and truly wants his guests to enjoy the space and their stay. The house is super well appointed, we haven't found anything missing or that we had to run out for in regard to kitchen or bath amenities, coffee, soaps, laundry, etc. Always feels like coming home!

My husband and I were blown away by the beauty and thought that was put into this private destination. The moment you step on property, the freshness of the air and sounds of the creek are immediately calming. Diana was incredibly nice and very communicative before and during the entire stay. Activities: The sauna, creek, hot tub, pizza oven, grill, fire place/pits, hammocks- the amenities are amazing and unlike any other Airbnb I have ever been in before. So much that besides a quick dinner out one night (12 min away) and a nice walk around the Mountain Top Arboretum with our dog, we wanted to spend our time at the property. We called it our personal sanctuary spa!! The home: The home style is minimalistic but homey and every single item is top notch quality. There are no shortcuts- the entire place is a work of art. The bedroom and bathroom inspired me to reanalyze my own bedroom style. Thank you for upping the Airbnb game!! Can’t wait to come back to this magical spot! ✨

Enjoyed staying 4 nights. The house is beautifully designed and decorated with lots of natural light. Great location across the street from the Lake and walking distance to New Preston shops, coffee and restaurants. Enjoyed daily morning walks around the Lake. David was a great host- responds within minutes, easy check-in and check out. Highly recommend.

By far one of the nicest air B&B’s we’ve stayed in. Beautifully renovated carriage house on an incredible piece of property. Todd and Janet warmly welcomed us with their chickens’ fresh eggs, fruit and muffins. Kitchen was well equipped for preparing meals and we enjoyed dining al fresco while hawks flew and deer ran across the fields. Upstairs is a comfortable bed with nice linens and a large bathroom. This is a real gem! We hope to return in the future.

We enjoyed our stay at Heather & Chip’s place and wish we could have stayed longer to explore the area. It is quiet and peaceful and the house was great for 6 people. The recommendation the local tavern and visiting Kent was good too.

Harry & Alicia’s spot is a gem in the heart of Litchfield County. A beautiful home, oozing with personality. Would definitely recommend for large groups as a very dynamic space with lots of privacy. Communication was top notch and the house was spotless and exactly as described/depicted. Thank you for being first class hosts.

this place is magical. my sisters and I have stayed here twice now, for her wedding and now for mine. both times the home has been clean and the overall experience has been wonderful.

A beautiful, comfortable house right on the Hudson with stunning views. We loved watching all the life on the river, herons and loons and ducks, as well as boats from tiny crafts to massive barges. There are great hikes just a short distance away. It is a perfect place to rest, write, draw, and make music.

Our stay included spending family time in front of the fireplace watching Disney shows and with time spent enjoying meals around the cozy kitchen table. Enjoyed our stay very much and hope to go back one day

The home was great and very cozy. David was super responsive and helpful with any questions we had and overall we had a great experience at Artistic Forest Cabin. We really enjoyed the fire pit and indoor fire place!

We enjoyed a wonderful stay! Danny was truly amazing! Very responsive and even checked on us during the winter storm to ensure everything was ok. He also had the snow plow come through and do the driveway prior to checkout. The house is amazing and we can’t recommend Danny’s place enough!

Very comfy bed… great shower- lots of hot water and good water pressure. The bottled water, oatmeal and snack bars were appreciated. The home was clean and spacious. Back deck was a perfect spot to unwind. Andre and his wife were very helpful.
