Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Kentucky Lake

We picked Gary’s beautiful cabin for a quiet anniversary trip. The yard is shady with rocking chairs on the front porch and a porch swing on the back deck. It is off the road but not too secluded. We felt very safe there. The back deck overlooks a wooded area where you can sit on the porch swing and listen to the birds sing. We enjoyed the recliners and comfortable living room. The home is spacious and would be perfect for a family. We met Gary and his wife and really enjoyed talking with them. They were friendly and easy to communicate with making sure we had what we needed. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely book again if we are in the area!

Very clean home! We were a short drive away from Patti’s (went 2 times during stay.) Enjoyed a short drive to see the buffalo and elk. Finished our trip with a boat rental saw more bald eagles than we could count. My mother who uses a walker and father who recently had a knee replacement were able to get in and out of the house with the side door (no stairs). Kitchen is well appointed. I cooked several meals. Lots of deer to watch from the back porch. Very quiet location. You won’t be disappointed.

House was great. Very clean and perfect for our family. The personal dock was great. Someone had mentioned not being able to get kayaks down to the water but we took ours anyway and were able to get them down to the dock with no problem. Had a blast!!! We also rented jet skis from Moon River Rentals which is super close to the house. Loved every minute of our time at the Rock House. Thank you Ryan!

Beautiful clean home and kitchen had everything we needed to cook our meals. Highly recommend for a family retreat on the lake. Beds were comfortable and rooms were spacious. Kelly was friendly, super helpful & the location is stunning. We definitely would love to come back!

Our family had a fantastic time! We said the pictures don’t do it justice. Beautiful setting, really nice home with everything you could need. Fire pit was very nice and we loved using the kayaks. We were impressed by how many kayaks, chairs, floats at the pool, towels etc provided. Even two fridges. It was well equipped for our large family! The bird watching was a bonus. Thank you for everything!

We were a group of 4 adults, in town for some off roading with our Jeeps at Turtle Bay OHV. Suzanne’s place was a great location for us and the house was beautiful. We had plenty of room and easy to find. Suzanne was very responsive to my messages. We will stay again !

We had a wonderful time. Very Private Lake house with a great boat dock. Also has a boat rental very close. Lots of fishing despite the weather. The only concern was the crack in the tub where you stand under the shower. Looks like they had tried to patch it but not successfully. All other aspects were exactly as they advertised. We had a few people come by to look at the house because it was listed for sale. Not sure what was going on but perspective buyers may want to rent it a few days.

We truly enjoyed our stay at Danielle’s place! The place was just as pictured, quiet and perfect for what we needed. I highly recommend anyone who needs a place stay at when in Murray Kentucky.

Laura's place was exactly what we needed for a fishing week. Her parents were nearby and were extremely helpful. We enjoyed visiting with them when our paths would cross. We would definitely stay at their location again in the future.

This condo exceeded our expectations. It was very clean and had everything we needed plus more. You can’t beat the location and view. Beds were very comfortable. Loved having access to the garage, most condos we’ve stayed in keep the garage locked. Made unloading so much easier and gave us a place to sit outside without being in the sun. Mason was a great host and made us feel at home the moment we walked in. We absolutely will stay here again!!

This place was exactly as described. Very clean when I showed and always felt secure whilst in the home. A great little place for a solo trip to explore the land between the lakes! The kitchen had everything I needed to cook my own dinner each night. And a convenience store was a mere block away-But, it was incredibly expensive! I would highly recommend going to the Dollar General in the other direction if you need groceries etc. The bathroom is very small, but for one or two people just fine. The only thing I didn’t love in this whole place was the water pressure in the shower. I had to shower for an extra 5 minutes I’m not o er exaggerating) to fully rinse out my shampoo. For the price, this place was exactly what I needed!

My fiance and I absolutely loved our stay at friendship farm! Everything about the guest room is extremely cozy and comfortable! Alma is an amazing host and is very friendly and personable! She is always there if you needed anything and is always up for giving local recommendations (which the room also included a list of) 10/10 would 100% stay again and will be back!

Stellar! Clean up to date comfortable spacious apartment. Extremely quiet building and neighborhood, beautiful yard, nice porch and very walkable to downtown. Highly recommended!

Kate’s place was exactly as pictured and described. The space was beautiful, and I even picked up design ideas that I’m taking home with me. It was a short walk to Freight House, where we were having dinner. We also stopped at Johnson Bar which was so cute and nice. We thoroughly enjoyed the king bed (without our needy pets!) and the coffee station in the morning. We would recommend to anyone who needs a place to stay in Paducah!

We have stayed in this rental multiple times and always enjoy being at this location. Close to the water and convenient to many necessities.

This place is so cute !! Very clean and in a great location.

Sharon was a great host with good communication up front. We loved her spot in downtown Paducah, choosing it for how walkable it was with the cute shops and restaurants nearby. The spot was super clean and very comfortable and cozy. Great view of the river out her windows too. It was a 5 star stay! Our only complaint was the WiFi which was very slow and made watching a game impossible one night. Beyond that, the amenities were well thought out and there were even snacks on the counter and bottled water in the fridge. We didn’t use the kitchen much but it was well stocked and would have been easy to use if we hadn’t planned on primarily eating at the local restaurants. We came to town to eat at Freight House. It did NOT disappoint. This was a great spot to stay just a few blocks away. We really enjoyed the local bakery and coffee shop just around the corner in the mornings and were right across the Farmer’s Market on Saturday morning. Thanks for hosting us Sharon!

Was a beautiful and peaceful stay would definitely recommend to anyone who loves the outdoors. This in my opinion is a piece of paradise

It was a wonderful place to stay. Very peaceful and relaxing. My family enjoyed staying here. Tracy was a great host and very accommodating.

If I could give this place more than 5 stars I would! Paducah and the condo were such a pleasant surprise! Had an amazing time and wish we could have stayed longer. The condo is so well stocked and very comfortable. Just amazing!
