Entire ground floor flat in Kilchattan Bay

KateRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Wonderful wee flat, 1 minute from the bus stop to Rothesay, and from a glorious view of the sea. Instructions were easy to follow, eg key entry etc . Alan was quick to respond to one query, and also let us know about a power cut in the south of the island (which didn’t affect us, as we were out, but it could have worried us). Neighbours were friendly. Flat was spotless, though (as described) very small. And the price was very good. Please pass on our thanks to Alan (2 adults and 1 wee dog) . We hope to come again.

Bella Vista Manor stunning views over Loch Striven

IanRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We stayed at Bella Vista Manor for a long weekend for a private family event. The house is set in such a beautiful peaceful location, luckily we were blessed with the warm sunny weather during our stay and had uninterrupted stunning views across to the mainland - the sunsets and rises from the house and garden were just spectacular. As for the house itself - we were a party of nine and we found there was plenty of space for everyone and it was spotlessly clean and reasonably well equipped. The house has retained many of it orginal features - especially the stain glass windows which were lovely. Would definitely recommend this lovely house if you are looking to stay in a nice peaceful, quiet location with stunning views.

Seal Cabin - A wee piece of Scottish Luxury

JaneRating, 5 stars4 days ago
The most wonderful cabin with such a majestic view of Loch Goil, absolutely breathtaking. We felt instantly relaxed the moment we arrived. Iain was a wonderful host, warm and helpful, and gave us some fantastic recommendations for special dinners at Wild Kabn and Inver, both unforgettable experiences. We walked every day, soaking in the scenery, and were lucky enough to spot seals swimming right in front of the cabin! The space is peaceful, beautifully maintained, and thoughtfully equipped, from the cosy blankets to the picture-perfect window views. Morning coffee overlooking the water felt like a scene from a film. A magical stay we won’t forget.

A Beaut of a flat in Ardbeg!

CharmaineRating, 5 stars3 months ago
I cannot say enough about our stay at Ardbeg! Keith was the consummate host!! Attentive, always responsive, offered endless suggestions for us and so very kind! He and Sally met us at the flat and showed us everything we needed to know and provided good info for the area. The space had the best view we’d ever seen and it was cozy and had everything we needed for our stay to make it feel like home. Bute lives up to its name- BEAUTIFUL!!! We loved our stay and can’t wait to go back soon!!!

3 Bishop Terrace Brae, Rothesay, Isle of Bute.

GaryRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Was our second stay at Jean’s flat. She is kind, helpful and responsive. She is also accommodating to any reasonable request. The flat itself is basic but is good value for the cost. There’s everything you need there as a comfortable base for your adventures. The stairs may be a challenge to anyone with mobility issues. Bute itself is a beautiful island to explore and decent transport options. The island has in recent years suffered from a number of businesses closing and imo in need of government investment/initiatives to reinvigorate it. Which is a shame. Nonetheless it’s a place of some outstanding natural beauty and still worth exploring. We recommend the wee community run pub in Port Bannatyne which is a friendly wee treasure. In Rothesay itself we recommend the Galatea for its beer garden and friendly service. There’s some lovely eateries too. Mount Stuart, Kingarth and Kilchattan Bay all lovely places to visit. Looking forward to returning one day to Jean’s flat. 5 stars!

Quaint flat w/ stunning sea view, 50 Mbps wifi

Janet ElaineRating, 5 stars1 week ago
What a lovely wee flat. Absolutely loved it. Stunning views and constantly changing. Sitting by the window with a wee glass of wine, a book and looking out on the view, was the highlight. The flat was spotless and the kitchen looked new with everything in it that you would need. The bathroom was also very clean and had a really good shower. The 3 flights of stairs were worth the climb for the view but definitely not suitable for people with mobility issues. The area is very quiet with a wee shop and a community pub. There was nowhere to eat in the village but there is a good bus service to Rothesay. The pub was welcoming to owner and dog and sold Bute Gin! Hopefully we will be back soon and won’t hesitate in using this flat again. Thanks Sam

New 2 bedroom cottage, private garden, parking.

CarolineRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Sandra’s cottage is in a great location, a short walk along the seafront to the town. We had a very comfortable stay and loved the views and seeing the ferry go past. We loved our first visit to Bute. Lovely quiet cycling and gorgeous coastline.
