Holiday rentals with a kayak in Keweenaw County

Nathan was a kind host and made sure we had everything we needed. It was the perfect place for our family snowmobiling trip. More room than it appears in pictures. Awesome coffee bar. Plenty of parking and close to main trails. We booked for next year already!

Our group of ten had a wonderful time at Kara's home. The house was clean, exactly as described and shown in photos, and had everything we needed (and then some) for a comfortable stay. We loved the coffee bar, the sauna, the kayaks, and all the games for the kids. Being able to walk outside and right onto the beach was incredible. The only downside to this home is it's distance from towns and attractions. If you're looking for a quiet, secluded, waterfront getaway, this is the perfect place!

Our family loved this place. We came up for a quick weekend trip with no real plans and fell in love with this place. It was in a great location to see many different sights. The views at the house alone are amazing. The beds are so comfortable and my kids loved being able to have bunks to themselves and full beds. It was a great place to hangout at night after adventuring all day. We hope to plan a future trip.

Sherry’s place was clean, comfortable and spacious. We will be back to stay again. I would recommend.

We stayed for a ski/birthday weekend and it was perfect. Sherry was great offering suggestions on dining and weekend happenings. Watching the deer in the morning was a highlight. The nearby cottages were close but still felt secluded. We hope to return!

We had a wonderful family stay at this home to celebrate a birthday weekend! The house comfortably slept all 12 of us and had everything we needed to relax and enjoy our time together. The kids loved the easy walk to the beach, and we took full advantage of the kayaks, pool table, cornhole boards, and puzzles to keep the fun going all weekend. It was also so helpful that there were plenty of towels for both the beach and showers. A great space for making memories—we’d definitely stay again!

What a beautiful setting! The house was spacious enough for our whole family and the setting was gorgeous.

Cozy, clean, peaceful cottage! Lovely view from the wrap-around porch. Loved the location and being so close to the beach. Great place to travel with our dogs. Close enough to local restaurants and plenty of cute shops nearby to explore, along with lots of outdoor activities. Cell service was limited and the Wi-Fi was very spotty, but would definitely stay here again!

Barry and Carol are incredible hosts. The place is exactly what my dad and I needed for our yearly trip to the UP. We got a flat tire and Barry and Carol were beyond helpful. I thought it was going to ruin our trip but turned into a 30 min drive with a spare, and one of the best Pasties I’ve had which was a win. Thanks again.

Carol's place had everything we needed for a great trip to the Keweenaw. Check in was easy and the place was clean.

Great place to stay if you're not looking for a touristy town. Eagle Harbor is very peaceful and not a lot going on. Places to eat are about 30 minutes away, but the car ride is very beautiful so it's a great experience. The cottage is small, but serves as a good home base. We only made breakfast there and slept. Other meals were packed beforehand and eaten as a picnic. This is a good place to stay if you're looking for a good weekend getaway.

The copper coast loft had everything and more for a very enjoyable weekend getaway. The host took the time to provide all the little things that you wouldn’t think to pack. Communication could not have been any better which is so crucial heading to a place mostly out of cell service.

Our group had a wonderful stay here! It was a great way to disconnect from the bustle of daily life. The lake was so peaceful and we loved playing games by lantern light in the greateoom. Rebecca was super helpful with explaining the how-tos of off grid living and it was super easy to enjoy our stay. We will definitely be coming back again in the future!

Words cannot describe this amazing place and quite honestly, pictures don't do it justice... additionally David and Colleen were beyond amazing hosts and offered helpful information and recommendations to ensure we had the best stay possible. The Cabin looks as though it has materialized from a fantasy book, yet it feels like home...! The memories of our stay will be with us forever. This beautiful cabin is filled with love for nature and it seamlessly blends with the awe-strucking unspoiled beauty of the land outside; from the calmness of the lake, the warmth of the sun clashing with the cool breeze from the west, the animals, the trees, the silence... everything a humble reminder of where we belong... Lovely large place right on the lake w/ great views. Four bathrooms, four bedrooms, lots of bunks. Two large beds. Big kitchen. Big TV. Close to Mt. Bohemia for skiing abd hot tub sauna, and closer still to Calumet for the Nordic ski race - the great bear chase. Good times!

This cabin was cozy and wonderful!! We made great use of the screened porch and bonfire. We were able to enjoy the boat as well on a calm day, and the lake was beautiful! We watched Hummingbirds constantly come to the feeder on the porch, as well as an Eagle family hunt and fish. They were nested just a couple houses down. This place is pretty well stocked, and we felt right at home. Steve’s dvd collection is curated and wonderful! Perfect for comfy nights upstairs. This is a peaceful location, but we were within a 20-minute drive to several of the UP towns with activities and were quite close to the Delaware mine and beautiful beaches. Mt Bohemia is super close is you’re coming in the wintertime. Steve was a wonderful host. Highly recommend this cabin! Wish we could have stayed longer. Hope to be back!

Fabulous stay!! Beautiful, private location with LOTS of outside space to use for playing or just hanging out. Fully stocked cabin - comfortable and well set up for cooking yourself! Host is very gracious, responsive and helpful, but not intrusive! We will definitely be back and will bring others with us to share the fun!
