An easy 10 minutes from the town of Golden, our completely unique, elegant, extremely romantic, custom built, all season yurt and modern shower house Note: There is a new build happening on the rural property beside us for summer 2026. Equally exhilarating are the many summer activities including hiking, mountain biking, whitewater rafting, paragliding, tandem parachuting.

Easy access to hwy 1 and 20 minutes to Golden, 45 minutes from the Rogers Pass and 30 minutes from Kicking Horse Resort. Walk, snowshoe or xc ski right from the door and explore the trails and the Blaeberry River. Warm up beside the wood stove and enjoy the ambiance of the timber framed cabin. Located on a dead end road , you will enjoy the peaceful and quiet location.

Wolf's Den

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Listen to the wolves howling right outside your window at the neighboring Wolf Center. Stay warm on those cold nights with the infloor heating and wood stove. This cozy little cabin is nestled in the beautiful Blaeberry valley, with great trails along the river's edge only a few minutes walk away.There is a full size shower and comfortable outhouse that has ample lighting that comes on automatically when it gets dark.

Centrally located between Banff (1.5h), Yoho (45min), Jasper (3h), and Glacier National Park (45min). Built by us 5 years ago, it offers a unique and personal touch. The Gondola is operational for 2026 Step out the back door of the Palliser, just a 45 second ski or slide to the resort base. Step out the front door to snowshoe trails or a 3min walk down to the general store, pub or Double Black Cafe. 15 minute drive to Golden's amenities and restaurants. Well appointed condo to come together in comfort at the end of an Epic day. Quiet dog is welcome provided it is not left alone in the suite or out on the deck.

Escape the crowds.. Escape the noise.. Come and enjoy our 100 plus acres of breathtaking beauty and solitude. In the spring, summer, and fall you can hike, bike, and play in and around the river. In winter, you can cross country ski, snowshoe, and toboggan. All without leaving the property. Once “home” soak in the hot tub, have a fire in the fire pit ( fire laws depending), and watch your children and dogs play. All while in the fenced backyard.

It recently underwent a wall-2-wall renovation and was professionally designed with 2 full bathrooms, one of which has a dual shower! Walk in right off your skis, take your gear off in the mudroom, and Relax in your private hot tub after a big day skiing. Please note, a maximum of 2 pets is permitted.

A magical place to spend a weekend or a week of relaxing and adventuring in the surrounding National Parks, 4 of them are less than an hours drive from the lodge. Your only regret will be that you didn't stay longer.
