Chalet holiday rentals in Kicking Horse River

This is a wonderful place except lots of cottages surrounded it which we don't see from its published photos. The property is very clean and nicely kept. We could not find a exhaust fan in the kitchen and thus, we were worried about cooking. Main TV in the sitting area is in a cabinet and it can be locked. The doors of that lockable compartment can be open only 90 degrees. Thus, unless you sit right in front of the TV, people seated in sides cannot watch the TV. But overall I will give 5 stars.

An absolutely wonderful experience and host. One of the best Airbnb’s that I’ve stayed at thus far. We were a group of 6 adults - work colleagues, staying two nights and wished we could have stayed longer. The location is very peaceful and beautiful, surrounded by forests, it’s a true gem. Easy to get there and easy access. Barb’s home was very clean and the amenities were plentiful, there was even bear spray available - every detail was well thought out. Beds were extremely comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. We all felt at home - WiFi worked great. Barb’s description and instructions were spot on, easy to follow and very friendly. We enjoyed it so much, that we will definitely return with our families. Highly recommended for families or a group of friends wanting to experience the true Canadian Rockies. Thanks for the great experience :)

Super clean, all amenities provided clean and in good condition. Amazing time for myself and 12 buddies. If I come to golden again this will be where I stay again!

We had an awesome 12 night stay at the Greenway Chalet. Beautiful views of the mountains and valley along with helpful and friendly staff. Jannis, Sean (sp?) and his father were all great! Would definitely stay there again. Mickey Thomason

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!! Easy to find, clear instructions, extremely helpful and quick responses! Our favorite thing was sharing a fence with the Northern Light Wildlife Wolf Centre. It was such magic for us and our daughters to hear the wolves howl. And don’t worry, it wasn’t disruptive. You almost can’t hear them when inside. Amazing. Hot tub and home were immaculate. Kitchen has every pot, pan or dish you will need. Lightning fast internet when you need it. Beds were very comfortable and towels plentiful.

Mike was super quick with any questions or concerns we had. The place was perfect for our group especially having two hot tubs and two bbqs. Made cooking so much easier . It takes the same time to get into town as if you co”ame down from the ski hill houses. Thanks for your place

Todd was an amazing host, and the Grizz Paw Lodge exceeded expectations! Todd was very responsive, friendly, and ensured we were taken care of during our stay. The lodge was spotless and very well maintained, everything was ready as soon as we walked in. There was more than enough dish ware and cooking supplies for my group, and Todd included coffee/tea which was very nice. The lodge was exactly as advertised and I have nothing but positive things to say about Todd as a host. I definitely recommend this property if you’re considering it!

We loved staying here for our family vacation. There was plenty of room for everyone, the fully stocked kitchen was a dream and we enjoyed the massage chair and hot tub after our hikes. So much wildlife to see on the drive up to the house! The host was also very responsive and helpful.

Tiana & Lindsay were wonderful hosts! The chalet was clean, spacious, and beautifully set up perfect for a relaxing getaway in Golden. Communication was smooth and friendly from start to finish, and they were very accommodating with any requests. You can tell they truly care about creating a great guest experience. We had an exceptional stay at Angie and Pete's place! From the moment we arrived, their hospitality stood out. The home itself is incredibly spacious and beautifully designed, with thoughtful details that made our stay incredibly comfortable for all 10 of us. The stocked kitchen had everything we needed, and the beds were wonderfully cozy. Angie and Pete went above and beyond by recommending fun activities and things to do, which we thoroughly enjoyed. The location is perfect—convenient yet peaceful. Their excellent communication further enhanced our experience, making us feel truly welcome. Wonderful place to stay. Quiet and peaceful. The home had everything you need. Cozy living spaces and a beautiful patio. Plenty of room for a family. Golden is a nice town with many great places to eat!

Our stay at the chalet was perfect. It was easy to check in. We were there for 8 days. It felt right at home. We picked Golden due to its proximity to five of the national parks we wanted to visit. We had the best time and would highly recommend this location.

Amazing house in a beautiful location. Would recommend!

This was a fantastic cabin for our extended family to gather. The teenagers loved the basement movie room and game room, and the adults loved the large dining table to play games and talk. The rooms were clean and there were plenty of bathrooms. I would definitely stay here again!
