Chambls Shack
Chambls Shack provides wanderers with a slow stay, overlooking the sandy beach at Verona Sands. Chambls is a genuine shack experience, complete with 1970’s kitchen, open fireplace and light shades. Plenty of wobbly bits and sloping floors, but we’re watertight, warm and a whole load of fun. Situated 1 hour from Hobart via Huon or Channel, Chambls welcomes travellers who want to truly relax and revisit the 70’s in luxe linens, open fire and a bottle of red. Or bring the kids and hit the beach.

The house is a spacious architect-designed one-bedroom studio: great for couples enjoying a weekend away or solo adventurers looking to explore the area. Watch the sunrise over the Channel, chill out on the deck in the afternoon sun, then finish the day with a hot outdoor shower under the stars (indoor shower also available). Located in Flowerpot, my place sits between a heritage apple orchard and an organic vineyard, 40 mins from Hobart. The house is NOT on Bruny Island but 10mins drive away

Double glazed windows look out over the grove and surrounding forest which wraps 360 degrees around our farm.
