Near by, i text them to come pick me no one answer my message, but the taxi guy was standing at airport with my name. Place is good with big room, air conditioner. Like money vise the place was better then what i ecpected, taxi possible to get there and back the time u want. Also they had good dinner with fresh fruits. With very good price. All together very good.

Un endroit exceptionnel avec une très bonne atmosphère ! C'est un lieu magnifique avec un bon goût pour la décoration extérieure et intérieure des chambres. It was a pleasure to be at Dr. Thuraiya’s Mtitu House. Beautiful House with everything you need. It provides both living space and advantages of a hotel like Housekeeping. Dr. Thuraiya is a lovely person and always very kind and helpful in any occasions. Thanks for making my stay during my elective internship comfortable :)

Wir haben uns in den zwei Monaten vor Ort mehr als wohl gefühlt. Es war sauber, alle Mitarbeitenden waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Ich kann die Unterkunft nur empfehlen, es wird auch versucht auf einzelne Bedürfnisse einzugehen und Dr. Thuraiya ist sehr gut erreichbar. Vielen Dank für die Gastfreundschaft ...

Ich hatte einen sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt mit freundlichem Personal und zuverlässiger sowie ebenso freundlicher Gastgeberin. Für Menschen, die im Krankenhaus arbeiten eine tolle Adresse, da das Krankenhaus fußläufig erreichbar ist. Eine gemeinsame Küche und Aufenthaltsräume auf beiden Etagen sind vorhanden. Manchmal ein wenig Reinigungsbedarf, aber im Großen und Ganzen sauber. Für Menschen mit Angst vor Hunden allerdings schwierig, da vor Ort sehr aktive Hunde sind. Vielen Dank für die Zeit! 😊

Great place to stay! I was nervous because of the photo quality online but when I went it was great. The Staff is very nice, breakfast was great, and the pool is amazing!

We stayed at Mtitu House for a month as we completed our medical elective at the nearby hospital. We always felt safe and comfortable, and the staff were super friendly and helpful. Dr. Thuraiya was very accommodating and promptly dealt with any issues we raised. There were many other students staying at Mtitu House which made for a good opportunity to make great friends. We learnt a lot from them, and made some amazing memories with everyone. Overall, Mtitu House was a relaxing home away from home. We would highly recommend it to everyone, especially students.

Great location. It’s in a prime location, close to the beach and very nicely furnished. The rooms are bright and fresh and breakfast is prepared every morning. Sofi is great and really you have all you need. I plan to come back again— I really enjoyed it.

Das Haus von Dr. Thuraiya liegt in einem authentischen Viertel von Dar, direkt neben ihrem Café Green Bean. Es gibt einen Garten mit zwei wilden Hunden, Wäscheleine und Veranda, meist halten sich hier die Mosquitos auf. Vor dem Eingang gibt es Parkplätze der Besitzer und 24/7 Sicherheitspersonal. In meiner Zeit wurde das Gebäude erweitert und angebaut, an den Lärm und Staub der Baustelle, sowie die vielen Arbeiter Tag ein Tag aus gewöhnt man sich. jedoch wäre es schön gewesen, zuvor informiert zu werden. Die Küche und die Gemeinschaftsräume werden jeden Tag gereinigt, das Putzpersonal (meist 3 Frauen) verbringen ihren Tag im Haus, ziehen sich aber in die Besenkammer unter Treppe zurück, sobald die Gäste sich dort aufhalten. Es ist sauber und ich habe mich wohlgefühlt. Trotzdem gibt es Kakerlaken, regelmäßige Stromausfälle und abgesehen von den weiteren Bewohnern des Hauses, viele Menschen, die man nicht kennt, die ein und aus gehen. Das Frühstück ist übersichtlich aber ausreichend.

I had an excellent stay at Mtitu House. Dr Thuraiya was a great host, always responding quickly to messages and giving suggestions about things to do in the local area. The house was very close to the local gym, cafés and restaurants and only a 15minute walk from the hospital. I met lots of other medical students whilst at the house who I was able to explore the area and go on trips with. As a solo female traveller I felt very safe with the 24/7 security who were all extremely friendly and helpful. The cleaning staff cleaned the social spaces daily and your room whenever requested. I would highly recommend this house to other medical students on their elective at Muhimbili hospital as an affordable safe accommodation where you can meet other medical students.

Our stay at Alexandra's guest house was one of the highlights of our trip to Tanzania. The house is extremely well fitted out and in immaculate condition with the highest quality of fittings and furniture used, it is well located geographically, security is top notch and the staff welcoming and friendly. Each day starts with a breakfast that sets you up for the day with what seems like an endless supply of coffee. As for the host, Alexandre is extremely friendly and welcoming and is attentive to all your requests and needs, she goes way and above what is normally expected of a host, a real gem. We will definitely be staying here on our next call to Tanzania.

Unser Aufenthalt in Kizimkazi übertraf unsere Erwartungen. Da diese neue Unterkunft nur für 8 Personen (4 Zimmer) ausgelegt wurde, ist man manchmal alleine in der Anlage, am privaten Strand und beim Essen. Wir wurden überaus freundlich und zuvorkommend behandelt, in Bezug auf Essenszeiten und Auswahl der Speisen, die für uns frisch zubereitet wurden. Die Anlage befindet sich mitten in einem kleinen, gut gepflegten, tropischen Wald. So hatten wir jeden Morgen ein Konzert von einer prachtvollen, heimischen Vogelwelt. Durch die Gezeiten kann man nur bei "High tide" schwimmen. Es gibt dort keinen typischen weißen Sandstrand, sondern man gelangt über etwa 5 Stufen mühelos ins Meer. Das Wasser ist klar, nur zwischendurch gibt es etwas Seegras. Um problemlos mit privaten Taxis ( damit kommt man in Zanzibar überall hin ) zu dieser Unterkunft zu gelangen, muss man den lokalen Namen: "Salida Beach" nennen. Wir empfehlen diese schöne Unterkunft für alle die Ruhe, Entspannung und Natur suchen.
