Beläget precis vid stranden till Torne älv hittar ni vårt hus, bara 4 km från Jukkasjärvi och Icehotel. Från vardagsrummet har du en underbar utsikt över älven med Jukkasjärvi i bakgrunden, och på en stjärnklar kväll kan du (med lite tur) se norrskenet från vardagsrummet eller altanen utanför. På sommaren kan du njuta av midnattsolen och se älven svepa förbi bara 10 meter från altan. Naturen ligger bara runt hörnet, så på med vandringsskorna och ge dig ut på härliga promenader. Välkomna!

Small cabin by the river

Accommodation right next to the river. You live in a guesthouse of a total of 18 square meters including bathroom. In all seasons, just sit on the bridge and enjoy nature. Max 2 persons, also children count as persons. The residence is not adapted to more why it is important to respect this limit. No pets allowed to be brought along. You can easily get to the property by car both summer and winter. Rental car should be booked well in advance as there are a lot of people during the season.

Reindeer Cabin

Welcome to stay with us close to the river in beautiful Poikkijärvi, a 15 minute car ride from Kiruna and 20 minute walk to Ice Hotel. We offer a unique living experience with reindeers outside your window (approx. Dec 15th-Apr 1st) in a quiet and calm village. A very good location for looking at northern lights. Here you have a cozy cottage in Poikkijarvi 17 km from Kiruna with a lovely quiet location at the river of Torne river. Across the river you can see the Ice Hotel. You have access to a wood burning sauna, a cozy fireplace and a bridge. In the cottage you have one bedroom, shower room with hot/cold running water, washing machine, incineration toilet and basin inside the cottage. Car traffic is almost non-existent, only a few private cottages nearby with private road / dead ends. The cottage is 90 sqm with 40 sqm loft and equipped for 6 people. There are 2 bedrooms with 2 beds each and a double bed on the loft, kitchen, living room, bathroom with shower and WC. (Blinding curtains in the two bedrooms, not on the loft)

Nearest grocery store is in Kiruna C (15 km) or in Jukkasjärvi (10 km).
