This is a small private rental inn with a renovation of a hundred-year-old earthenware storehouse in a town with a view of the two alps in Inagaya, Nagano Prefecture. The hotel is operated by two couples who run a design office.It is a space where we can design ourselves, create parts that we can create with our own hands, and develop the power to create our own lives, and explore the possibility of renovating earthenware. It is an old house built 221 years ago in the center of Tsumagojuku.The 20-tatami living room has an irori fireplace (currently unusable), and you can enjoy an old Japanese house.There are three bedrooms, so you can accommodate large groups with family, friends, etc.There is no food provided.You are welcome to use the full kitchen.At the end of the dirt from the front door, there is a backyard where you can wander freely.There is wifi and an automatic lifting table, so you can work remotely for long stays.Please have a relaxing time in this quiet old house.We look forward to hosting you ！

It is a 10-minute drive to the Komagatake Ropeway bus stop, making it the perfect location for mountain climbing, skiing, and learning about Japanese rural life. Sake and miso factories are also close by. The altitude is about 700 m and the stars are beautiful at night if the weather is clear. We also offer free bicycle rentals (2 bikes) for those who wish. The hosts are an Italian and Japanese couple who can speak English, Italian, Chinese, and Japanese. Why not come and visit an Italian family in Minamishinshu?

This accommodation is a private rental, limited to one group per day. Itakura no Yado Shirakuri is a small old traditional house inn started by an owner who loves traditional houses. Itakura was relocated from the foot of Mt. Norikura and opened in June 2016. I hope that you will be able to feel the atmosphere of Itakura which is not found in everyday life.
