The house has its own compound at the front and is located in a safe gated community in Winam Estate so security is good. Very chilled out and quiet neighbourhood I must say. Easy and convenient access to Kisumu CBD and shopping malls around Kisumu in any direction. Ideally... Home away from home.

The place was just as pictured. Elvis was such a hospitable host and was always a phone call away to cater for all our needs. We especially enjoyed the patio and the grill. The location was convenient to access amenities. This place is definitely a hidden gem.

My family really enjoyed their stay. Evans was flexible when we ended up having more guests than we initially expected. Evans’ parents prepared very good food for my family at a fair cost. They were also very kind and accommodating. We shall definitely be recommending Evans’ place and will book again in future.

The accommodation exceeded our expectations to the point where Im happy to say that this place has now become our Kenyan home! we can't wait to return. George, Pharey and their family who live on site to maintain the property are exceptional people. The host is wonderful, very accommodating and extremely responsive to our requests. House was spotless and the laundry lady even went above and beyond. Rooms are spacious and homely and guards/caretaker very polite. I recommend the Tom Mboya house due to proximity to town.
