This unique and peaceful retreat makes it easy to relax. The cottage is located on the shore of Ounasjoki. Behind the river is Aakenustunturi. The cottage has electric heating, a wood stove, and a fireplace. The sauna is heated with wood, which is also located in the same building. Access to the sauna is via the terrace. Water for the sauna is fetched from the river with buckets and heated in a wood-fired sauna stove. The property has a very clean outdoor toilet with no heating. The river is open even in winter.

Cosy Studio

Peacefully located Alpine cabin, main house is on the 2nd floor. Downstairs is a cosy 35m2 studio with own entrance and spacious parking for the guests to use. The location of the cabin is between Levi Fell and Kätkä Fell and the view from the studio is towards Kätkä Fell. Your hostesses are Tarja and Scott and we live upstairs and are happy to help you with anything and any questions you might have. We speak fluent English and Finnish.
