Holiday rentals in Knockrome

What a place to stay!! From the initial booking and super communications with Steve, we’ve enjoyed the best few days in Scotland ever!! The bothy is in the most idyllic location on Mull, but at the same time only a short drive from the ferry terminal. We were met by Steve on our arrival (earlier than expected as the cottage had been free the day before..this gave us half a day extra really!) and showed around the property…wow, wow and WOW!!! The design, the immaculate presentation, the comfiest of beds..an absolute credit to Steve who has put so much thought and effort into such a wonderful place..and the view…well, there aren’t any words!!! We were blessed with beautiful weather whilst spending our few days exploring parts of the island (the bird life is exceptional!!) but if the weather had been different, we could’ve very happily stayed in the cottage just watching the tide roll in and disappear again!! Wow, what an amazing joke , all the finishing touches in the air bnb made us feel at home ! There’s plenty of entertainment for those cosy nights in and sharing the bottle of red from the welcome hamper made our first night ! We cannot fault this air bnb in any way and we cannot wait to come back ! This has surpassed all other homes we have stayed in, thank you Tricia and Frank !

We had a lovely stay in Gigha, beautiful beaches, great cycling, lots of wildlife and friendly community. It’s a special Island to make lots of memories. Kate’s house is ideally located near the local store, cafe & restaurant & easy access to the whole of the island. The house is great with everything you need for a relaxing holiday….. we didn’t want to leave! Many thanks to Kate & Nicola.

Had to change my accommodation whilst on Islay at short notice and got lucky that Lillias’s property was available. Everything was perfect and Lillias was lovely, very helpful and a great source of local knowledge and recommendations. For a single traveler or couple the Pod on the Hill is perfect. Don’t hesitate folks just book it!!!

The most wonderful cabin with such a majestic view of Loch Goil, absolutely breathtaking. We felt instantly relaxed the moment we arrived. Iain was a wonderful host, warm and helpful, and gave us some fantastic recommendations for special dinners at Wild Kabn and Inver, both unforgettable experiences. We walked every day, soaking in the scenery, and were lucky enough to spot seals swimming right in front of the cabin! The space is peaceful, beautifully maintained, and thoughtfully equipped, from the cosy blankets to the picture-perfect window views. Morning coffee overlooking the water felt like a scene from a film. A magical stay we won’t forget.

"Serenity meets comfort in this modern haven!" We are a group of 6 travelers and had a wonderful experience at this amazing house in Bridgend. From the moment we arrived, we felt at home and thanks to the thoughtful touches eg: the comprehensive instruction manual on basic amenities, food and groceries stores nearby etc, the wide-ranging guidebooks well laid out on the table for walks, distilleries visits, bird watching etc.... there is just something for everyone with different interests. The house was fully equipped with everything we needed, and the clear instructions made it easy for all of us to settle in. The kitchen facilities were excellent, and the cleanliness of the rooms and toilets were impressive. Your home is truly a haven, and we felt so relaxed and at peace during our stay in this picture-perfect setting. We will be recommending to our friends and family this home and hope that we will return one day!

Booked both pods with friends and had an amazing time! The pods were very pretty, thoughtfully equipped and spotless, and the hot tubs were pre-warmed. The hosts were very friendly both online and in person, we were even kindly introduced to the highland cows. Highly recommend to stay here!

Absolutely gorgeous stay at Philips house, perfect host and breakfast was amazing! We wish we could have stayed longer! Would love to return someday!
